Exploring Excellence: A Review of Mechanical Engineering in IIT Mandi

The course curriculum in the mechanical branch is very practical and real-life based. for the real-world application, we have to learn LAB courses and research under the Professor in the Technical Field. In some courses, we learn a lot of real-life applications like AFM, CFD, Theory of machines, and Design of machine elements. and also from the Mechanical workshop, we have experienced lots of things which is related to real-life problems. We should focus on those courses, in that you are more interested in those courses. and also college teaches us some HSS courses which are not related to the mechanical field. For improved teaching methods, colleges should teach with more practice in the lab and also numerical with offline mode. There are two major exams in our college Midsem and endsem.in some courses, the teacher also takes some quizzes on the weekend. In the Midsem, Questions come which is not tough because syllabus is not more compared to Endsem because whole syllabus is coming.

I am saying in simple words. total fee for one semester is around 1.5 lakhs. all fee is included in this. Like medical, tuition fees, mess, and hostel. The complete cost of B.tech in IIT Mandi is around 12 lakhs. There are some scholarships here that are provided by the organization and also Government scholarships. For the SC/ST and PWD categories tuition fee waiver is provided by Government. Also for OBC students if they have an income certificate, that is less than 1 lakhs, a tuition fee waiver is provided. A girl who has more than 7 CGPA has to submit zero tuition fees.

There are many festivals in our college. like fests are XPECTO, RUVAAN, EXODIA, KALA, RAN-NEETI.all clubs have many fests monthly and on weekends. All National festivals are celebrated in IIT Mandi like Independence Day, Janmashtami, Diwali, Republic Day, Holi, etc. IIT Mandi has very clubs related to culture and Technical. such as MUSIC, DANCE, DRAMA, ROBOTICS, literal, SAE, YANTRIK ETC. For sports, All outdoor and indoor games are provided. All books are available in the library which are related to our courses and others.

I had gone to Kota to prepare for jee mains and advanced exams. and after qualifying for both exams fill Jossa Conssling and I got IIT Mandi with mechanical Branch. first of all, you should 75% marks in the 12th board exam. otherwise, you can't sit in jee advanced exam. You can Directly fill out the form on the official website and proceed. the application fee for Jee Mains is 1k and for Jee Advanced 2.9k. You can fill out the Jee mains form nearly last December or starting January. and for jee advanced you can fill nearly April. when you qualify for Jee Mains then you can be eligible for Jee advanced exam. in my time I have 4 attempts for JEE Mains in one year and 1 attempt for JEE Advanced. For Jossa Counseling you should have all the documents that are needed to fill out the Jossa counseling form. As cast, residence, category, income,12th,10thmarksheets, and Medical certificate.
