IIT Mandi

Because I am from Himachal, IIT Mandi was one of my top choices, and there was a certain optimistic feeling that drew me in after seeing the campus. The college is the IIT family's newest member. According to the new IIT, the college's placement record is excellent, and the staff is well-known for its innovative teaching methods. IIT Mandi offered a fantastic M.Tech in Power Electronics and Drives programme, which was just what I was looking for. To be accepted into the college, an applicant must pass the GATE exam and earn at least 60% in the B.Tech programme. After passing the GATE, the candidate must attend COAP counselling.

The curriculum is designed in accordance with IIT standards, which means it adheres to all regional and global industry regulations and standards. I was accepted into the college research programme as a result of my academic achievements and ability to participate in college extracurricular activities. The faculty assists us with our study, and it is an excellent opportunity for us to discover new things. Because the programme is a mix of theoretical and practical knowledge, it is a good fit for me.

The college boasts a 100% placement rate. The college placement committee is extremely dedicated, and they are aware of the students' enthusiasm for the placement push. As a result, the assists and leads us much during the college placement stages. During the college's placement drive, over 70+ companies visited the campus. Our batch's highest placement package was over 35 LPA, with an average package of roughly 15 LPA. Google, Microsoft, Samsung Bangalore, Adobe, Walmart, Paytm, Amazon, Samsung Bangalore, and other companies came to campus for a placement drive.

The fee structure for the course was roughly around 2.17 lakhs and it was pretty feasible for me. However, the college offers some financial aid methods for students who find the fee structure a little expensive to afford. Merit-based scholarships are available at the college. The college's classrooms are large and airy. The library has a large number of books as well as international journals.
