For the natural beauty. I’ve been a part of this institute for almost a year now and I’ve fallen in love with it’s beauty. There is so much to explore that my first year just disappeared in thin air. Okay so now, let’s come back to the topic. I know many people have already provided a bunchful of beautiful answers yet here I am, with my own version of the story!these scenic beauties, which will make you fall for it every single time.

Nice. There are large amount of lab with well equipment. This college has the best infrastructure among other NIT's (what I felt). It has a sense of serenity all around. Coolness and composure marks the surrounding. There is a ground with basketball, lawn tennis etc. Facilities. Girls and Boys hostels have a badminton court. Classes are well furnished. Cleanliness is maintained. However the girls hostel is quite far from lecture hall.

Yes National institute of technology hamirpur provides internship of 8weeks. Overall experiences are very nice.

This year placement is better than last years. In NIT Off campus placement are more than On campus. The biggest factor is the Transportation problem. In transportation only buses and personal vehicle are available. There is no train and air way facility available. Yet in the nearest city (UNA) train facility is available. This year the highest package from NIT HAMIRPUR is 75 lac from CSE department. And in the nearest future will more better than last years. The average package is about to 5 lac. Mostly 90% students are placed in ECE branch.

There are many Events are organised in big auditorium of NIT. The biggest fest are culture fest "HILLFAIR", technical fest " NIMBUS". Campus is very clean peaceful place. Most beautiful campus, good environment, everything is here for enjoying. Situated in lush green forests. Nice hostels and free atmosphere to learn and innovate.

Many aspirants with stars in their eyes want to get admission into the NITs. While being rated among the best in the country is one obvious reason why students are attracted to the NITs, the low fee structure is also another big reason. Being public institutes, they charge only a fraction of what private institutes like Manipal and VIT charge. Campus life is remarkable. Nice place nice enviornment. Gender ratio is 1:4 (girls : boys). Each every club is there for extracurricular activity. Labs are well equiped.Ground is big. Daily game is going on. Intra college inter college game also be arrenged.

Seniors are very good helpful. I don't have enough imformation about alumni. Senior give all helpful information about their experiences

Exam structure is very clean. Department give you the academic calender at the starting of semester. In acedemic calender you get every information about holiday as well as exam date. In a semester there is one mid semester exam( internal exam) and at the end there is final exam

In my BTech 4th year,I sat GATE examination. Which is conducted by iit guwahati. Every year different iit conduct this exam. After the GATE result. You have three option 1st is apply in PSU, 2nd is mtech from iit, 3rd is mtech from nit. For iit there is separate form fill up for separate iit. But for nit there is CCMT.

The faculty is nice and cooperative. Qualified and knowledgeable staff is there. Projector teaching is also done sometimes. Satisfactory teaching quality. Plenty of staff is there for each course such that teaching of each year is successfully managed.
