- generally the NITH campus is very away from main Town so there is only Bus Transport facility there
Course Curriculum Overview
I like the technological field so, i choose this course, the faculty at NIT Hamirpur is very supportive about clearing concepts, helping you to apply your knowledge, most of the faculty members are Ph.D holders, having 7-8years of teaching experience, our exams are conducted twice in a semester, if study with the teacher pace you can easily pass them.
Placement Experience
after 6th semester the placements begins at NITH many Tech companies visit at NITH like Amazon , Flipcart, Paytm,samsung,oracle ,infosis etc.The highest palcement package is 1.73 crore in 2023 and average package is about 15 LPA about 80% of students got placed and also many of students opt for higher studies, i try to get placement if i get and not then go for higher studies
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees at NIT Hamirpur is comparatively low as compared to other Private colleges but for a poor-middle-class family student it is too high , so the adminstration provide reservation of fee for students and also there are scholarship opportunities for the students providede by the Student Welfare Section. During my studies i got the scholarship providede by H.P. Board for meritorious students having Rs.17000 per year
Campus Life
there are many fests organised in the college like Hill Fair(Cultural fest) occurs in nov-dec and Nimbus(Tech Fest) organised in jun-july and also many more.. the college life at NITH is very beautiful and healty including sports. there are lots of books at the library ,students can borrow any book they want , and there are many social clubs and groups run by students in the college
Hostel Facilities
Hostel Facility at NITH is very good ,the hostels are very clean and large, the scenenry at the balcony of the room is very beautiful, the meal at the hostels is also very good , generally students decide what should they eat, the registartion process is very simple after academic registration , there is also the PG availabilty outside the campus students can also choose them if they want
Admission
I gave JEE Mains 2022 exam and secured crl rank 29203, after JOSAA rounds i got a seat at NIT Hamirpur ,i got all the information and notification at jossa's site about application form,fees and applying dates At the institution i got all the details about the reservation belonging to particular category and stages of family income. the offline verification of the documents at the institute is very difficuilt , so if possible the students will be categorised as their courses and called according so that the verification can be done easily
Interview Experience
There is a JEE Mains test for the admission at NIT Hamirpur, it is organized my NTA twice in a year, the exam consist of three sections for physics, chemistry and mathematics, the entire syllabus ans paper pattern is avialable at jee mains site.
