IIT Mandi Review

For me, IIT is a very good college as I have completed my M.Tech degree from the college and I will write this review based on my personal experiences. The college admission form is available on the college website and after I got selected after clearing the GATE exam I appeared for COAP counselling and I was granted a seat in the college for the course I was interested in.

The curriculum of our college was very nicely structured and designed. The curriculum of our college is quite flexible and all the latest information related to any industrial changes are available. The faculty is awesome and highly dedicated and well trained. Some of our college faculty has very good corporate world experiences and research work too and have completed their PhD program from the best in the business institutes. The faculty is quite supportive and fully guides us throughout the college tenure.

Our college has very good internship program opportunities. We are eligible for an internship at the end of the second semester. The internship is paid and the usual stipend for the college internship program starts from 30k to 1.25 lakh.

The college completely stands on the legacy of the IITs as the college offer good placement opportunity and very good placement packages offers. The college placement committee works as the support system and motivates us during the time of the college placement drive. The college has a record of 100% placement with the highest salary offer was 25 LPA and the average salary offer of around 15 LPA. Google, Microsoft, Samsung Bangalore, Adobe, Walmart, Paytm, Amazon, etc are the names of some companies that took in the college placement drive.

The IITs college fee is on the higher side but the quality and the facility of the college is also very good. Our college also offers scholarships through Institute Merit-cum-Means Scholarships, Scholarship for SC/ST, HTRA Scholarship for MTech/MS/Scholars and many more such scholarships schemes are available.

Our college is located in a very beautiful location and has very good vibes. The college is surrounded by greenery. The classrooms are quite airy and do not feel congested. The college library has a very good collection of books on all kinds of topics. One of the biggest plus points of our college was that it also offers very good sports facilities like Badminton Court, Basketball Court, Cricket Ground, Football Ground, Swimming Pool, Tennis Court, Volleyball, Chess.

Our hostel has a very good hostel facility. First of all, I would like to tell you about the hostel food. The hostel mess food is good and it feels like homely made food. The cooks of the mess are very well trained and they cooked the food very nicely. The south Indian breakfast on weekends is like a treat for us. The hostel offers laundry facilities also. The rooms are very nicely maintained and cleaned on regular basis. All in all, I can say that the hostel has a homely kind of vibe.
