CU Haryana Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

There is too much scope in a private company, government, and self-business. 5:1 in students teacher ratio. Most of the faculty have Ph.D. from IIT Roorkee and some teachers have a degree in m.tech from nits and reputed national level colleges. There are 2 internal examinations having intervals of 2 months and a semester have on time 6 months, It's easy to pass the sem if u will teach the teachers notes.

Currently, the university has signed a memorandum of understanding with some companies and has also opened its placement cell in Gurgaon. average placement goes to 4-5 lakhs but the number of students placed is less however many students get placed in good companies through off-campus placement. I will prepare for gate and ese exams and will try to achieve my goals as soon as possible.

Btech course in university is very much new the first batch had started in 2016 so no such placements have taken place but some of the students have got a job in local firms which provide 4,5 LPA but some students tried off-campus and they have got a package of 8,9 LPA. A student can sit for placement in the 4th year and just from the previous year placement opportunities are increasing and the training and placement cell of the university is inviting a lot more companies than before so the placement scenario is going to increase. And a lot of students in university sit for the GATE exam for further studies.

One of the good aspect is , it is a central government university with affiliation of AICTE, and its fee is also good one as compared to other private universities. After giving entrance exam , you have to visit the official website of CUH by which you can apply for counselling procedure, but make sure that , at the time of entrance exam you must have to choose CUH as a option. Then check out the counselling list , if you find your name , then you have to pay the fee and confirm your seat in this university. Reason of selecting this university is only that, it is a central government university. I had reviewed this college on collegeduniya website when i was in class 12th.

The course is fully good and informative. It provides every necessary information when the time comes by organizing events and webinars also. The faculty-student ratio is approximately 1:40. Every professor is well educated and perfect in their field. More than 95% of professors are Ph.D. holders. Their teaching method is very pretty and they teach everything in a practical and detailed manner. Term-end exam happens every 6 months and in that our behavior, assignments, attendance, and activeness everything matters. They all are included in the final CGPA. The level of exam is not so difficult but no so easy also.

Btech is new in the college. There is a placement wing but students till now have got placement in their personal capacity but with the passage of 2 - 3 batches placement is going to start. My plan after getting a degree is to go for higher studies.

Almost all seniors are placed by off-campus placement in the Computer Science and Engineering department. College cell is not very active in case of placement as the highest package is 5 lakh per annum. I would go for off-campus placement in the field of Data Analysis or can also choose to pursue MBA.

Since the program is new, there were no placements this year but the training and placement cell is working on it. My plans after getting a degree are to get a job as a data analyst for 4-5 years and then work as a freelancer in data science.

The course curriculum and facilities are really very good, supportive, smart, and helpful. Every professor is very unique in their own way. I chose Computer Science and Engineering because I want to do coding and want to create some Innovative apps and ideas. The mathematics faculty, Programming Faculty every one is very good and seriously dedicated towards their works. The way they provide is Assignments and projects make us feel more inspired and interesting. In a class, we will find approximately 70-72 students. The more interesting fact is that every professor can handle these 72 students themselves. 99% of our faculty is having a Ph.D. degree from recognized Universities as well as they have teaching experience in foreign countries also. The term exams seem somehow difficult to pass but if you will prepare with a will and concentration then surely you will achieve good grades.
