Interested candidates belonging to the unreserved category must pay the application fee of INR 1,000. However, the registration fee is exempted for candidates belonging to the SC, ST, PwD, Women, and Transgender categories.

Central University Haryana PhD Admission 2025-26 Begins,

The Central University of Haryana is inviting PhD applications and has released a schedule for the PhD program for the academic year 2025-26. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website of CU Haryana by December 30, 2025.

The correction window will be open from December 31, 2025, to January 1, 2026, and the list of shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview on January 2, 2026. The admit card will be issued on January 2, 2026. The entrance exam will be conducted on January 6, 2026, at Central University of Haryana, Mahendergarh.

The entrance exam will be conducted for admission to the following five PhD programmes: PhD in Hotel Management, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Pharmaceutical Sciences. (GATE, GPAT candidates are exempted from the entrance examination in the above programmes.)

The declaration of the result and display of the shortlisted candidates to be called for an interview has been scheduled on January 6, 2026. Reporting date and time for an interview in the concerned department have been scheduled from January 7, 2026, to January 9, 2026.

The document verification and deposition of fees will be on January 12, 2026, and January 14, 2026. The classes will begin on January 19, 2026.

Students who have completed Masters degree with a minimum of 55% marks are eligible to apply for the PhD program at CU Haryana. Further, candidates who have qualified the UGC-NET (including JRF), UGC-CSIR-NET (including JRF, GPAT, GATE, CEED or passed the M.Phil programme shall be exempted from the entrance test and shall be eligible to appear in the interview.
