The University offers a Bachelor’s course in the Faculty of Science with an accessible fee structure, costing approximately Rs. 8,000 per year for boys and Rs. 6,500 for girls, supported by UGC. Government quota fees are Rs. 8,000 annually, while management quota seats are priced at Rs. 40,000 annually. Scholarships based on merit or financial need are available, though they may not cover the higher management fees. For the years 2016-19, the total fee was Rs. 25,000 for three years.

Currently, annual costs include Rs. 25,000 for college, Rs. 1,200 for hostel, Rs. 3,000 for books, and a hostel deposit of Rs. 1,000, along with extra charges totaling Rs. 80,000 for tuition, registration, development, lab, and other fees. The faculty, especially in the chemistry department, is experienced, and professors are accessible for guidance. However, some elective courses lack experienced instructors. The anatomy department has mixed reviews, particularly in biochemistry. Faculty-student relationships are mostly positive, with minor exceptions.

The course includes two exams per semester, with a low failure rate; out of 250 students, only 20 failed a moderately difficult exam. Placement for the master’s program is robust, with 70-75% of students securing jobs in esteemed companies like ONGC, Reliance, and MRF. Students are eligible for placements starting in the 4th semester, with salary packages ranging from Rs. 5 to Rs. 11 lakhs annually. Internship opportunities, including on-campus options with a stipend of Rs. 50 per hour, provide valuable experience.
