MSU B.Com Provisional Merit List Out, Get Direct Link Here

New Delhi: The MS University, Faculty of Commerce released a provisional merit list for the 2024 B.Com admission on June 12, 2024. After the Gujarat Public Universities Act 2023 passed, this was the first admission conducted by the university. The admission was conducted through the Gujarat Common Admission Service (GCAS) portal. Candidates can check the provisional merit list by logging in to the official website of GCAS.

According to Professor Ketan Upadhyaya, the Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, at MSU, “This year, we reserved 70% of the seats for the students of Vadodara and Vadodara district while we have provisionally admitted 30% students from outside Vadodara district”

What is the MSU B.Com Cutoff 2024?

This year, a total of 5852 students were given admission letters for the MSU B.Com 2024 admission. The cutoff percentage stood at 75% for the general category candidates which stood at 65% in the last year.

Professor Ketan Upadhyaya said, In the general category we could not admit students from Vadodara who had less than 75%, But we could provisionally admit all the reserved category students including SC.ST, SEBC and EWS.”

Pankaj Jaiswal from the All Gujarat Students Union said, “Where will the students from the general category who have scored less than 75% go? This is injustice The faculty should raise the number of seats to accommodate other students from Vadodara.”
