Course Curriculum Overview
The course Structure is pretty good, the course's emphasis is based upon basics in the 1st year and build up from there. There are many courses to opt for as electives and minors. Almost any of the science subjects can be chosen as electives. Like physics, mathematics, zoology, botany, geography, geology, etc .
Internships Opportunities
Yes the college has a program called student internship program which allows students to work in the University offices as an intern. The stipend provided is rs 50 per hour and the exposure provided is quite good.
Placement Experience
I do not know about the placement structure for the bachelor's course of the faculty, as far as I know the placements provided for the bachelor's program is quite weak as compared to other private Universities. But I believe the placement structure for the master's programme is well managed.
College Events
Almost all the festivals and many events are celebrated in the college. There are science exhibitions in every department in which students exhibit different models from their respective department. The cultural events are massive and the participants come in large numbers for celebration of festivals like navratri, diwali, Holi, janmashtami etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The faculty of science in the University is aided by the UGC thus making the bachelor's course quite affordable for the students. The course fee for one year of the course is about rs 8000 for boys and around 6500 for girls. The course fee here is the most affordable as compared to most other colleges in the state.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a cell in the University where all the details about the scholarship that can be availed by a student is available. The scholarships are provided on the basis of makes secured in the examination or according to the financial condition of the student. Almost all the banks provide loans for education for the University.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is very good, at least for my course in chemistry. The teachers are very experienced and knowledgeable. The teachers take interest in the overall development of the students, but sometimes in the elective courses the faculty provided is not very experienced and we face difficulties .
