Prachi's Review On Maharaja Sayajirao University Of Baroda - [MSU], Vadodara

I always wanted to do my MBA from Abroad and so I chose MSU BBA because firstly MSU is NAAC A and also Vadodara is my Home city and as I was going to go abroad for my masters I wanted to do my bachelors in my city.

My college has played a very important role in helping me discover myself. The best part about my faculty is the events that we organise every year. Organising events and being the part of Management and cultural committee has helped me grow and improve my communication skills. I also got an opportunity to work with L&T as an intern because of my college. I’ll say MSU BBA for the personal development is great but the course curriculum and faculty is not that great. But I really feel that you can always learn different concepts from internet but to learn management you definitely require experiences. I feel for me the college was perfect because I was looking for industry exposure and real life experiences but you should rethink before getting into the college if you are purely looking for the quality education.

I was working with few of my seniors on their event management startup since my first year and I have also done an unpaid internship at L&T power in Human Resource Department.

The placement offers and job opportunities are also great here. And also there is a low competition because most of the students go for their further studies and there are very few who take up the job. We have Amul Neilson ICICI bank and many more companies. The best part about bba is that we have a strong alumni network and so it helps in finding internships and jobs. So job is not really a problem. Infact the opportunities are great I myself was working part time throughout this 3 years with some of my seniors and it was great.

we have a great social life at MSU. Every year we organise 7-8 events for the public like BBA Baazigar, budding aces, fortitude etc. we also have a 2 days event samanayan every 3 years where we invite all the BBAites from around the world and promote networking. We also celebrate all the festivals and days here.

The infrastructure is great. We have all the facilities except for the fully functional canteen. All the classes are equipped with projectors and computers. We have a decent sized library and computer lab. We also have common rooms, games room, garden etc.
