Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because the curriculum includes a good balance of theoretical knowledge, practical laboratory work, research-based learning, and industry-related subjects. The syllabus covers important topics that are useful for understanding modern scientific techniques and real-world applications. Practical sessions, assignments, and projects helped increase my interest in the subject and improved my technical skills.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies, research laboratories, hospitals, pharmaceutical industries, and biotechnology firms offer internship opportunities to students. Common roles offered during internships include Research Intern, Laboratory Assistant, Quality Control Intern, Microbiology Intern, Clinical Lab Trainee, and Biotechnology Trainee. Some internships provide stipends depending on the organization, duration, and student performance, while others mainly focus on training and practical exposure.
Placement Experience
Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 5th or 6th semester, depending on the course and company requirements. The college placement cell regularly organizes training sessions, aptitude tests, and interview preparation programs to help students improve their employability skills.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am student in bsc microbiology and when I had take an admission my fees structure is 35,000 per year and my additional fees and professional charges per year 1500, one time enrollment fees 1500, End exam fees per year 2500, and one time convocation fee 3000. But new fees struct of bsc microbiology is 47,000 per year and the additional charges are similar but the new added the ERP charges 3000
Campus Life
The college organizes annual cultural and technical festivals every year, usually held between January and March. These events include cultural performances, competitions, technical exhibitions, workshops, seminars, and sports activities that help students showcase their talents and improve their skills. The festivals create an energetic environment and encourage student participation.
Admission
I had applied to a few other colleges offering similar courses and received confirmed admissions from some private universities as well. However, I chose my current college because of its good academic environment, affordable fee structure, practical learning opportunities, and better infrastructure. The college also provides supportive faculty members, laboratory facilities, and internship opportunities, which influenced my decision. Compared to other colleges, I found the curriculum here more industry-oriented and suitable for my career goals.
Faculty
There are usually two internal exams and one final university exam in each semester. The exams are moderate in difficulty; students who study regularly can clear them easily. A small number of students fail mainly because of irregular attendance or lack of preparation. The course curriculum is relevant and includes both theoretical and practical knowledge, which helps students build a strong foundation and prepares them for higher studies, research, and industry opportunities.
Interview Experience
For admission, students must fulfill the eligibility criteria, which usually includes passing 12th standard with science subjects from a recognized board. Admissions are based on merit, entrance exam scores, or counseling processes depending on the course and university guidelines. Important criteria include academic performance, cutoff marks, and document verification.
Night Life
The college campus provides facilities such as a gym, cafeteria, library, and common public areas for students. The library usually remains open during college hours and may extend timings during exams for study purposes. Cafeterias and food courts generally stay open from morning until evening, providing affordable snacks and meals for students. Public areas, seating zones, and recreational spaces are accessible throughout the day, while the gym operates during fixed morning and evening hours.
