Life at IIITD

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees is same for every b.tech student regardless of there category. Scholarships is available but only for Delhi as a home state students that too with a criteria based on income and last school fee paid. First and second semester college tuition fee was 225000 , this is charged per semester which sums to 450000 for first year. Same structure goes for rest of the semester with an increment of around 25000 per year. There are total 8 semester so final fees for whole b.tech course sums around 2000000.

Fees for the course which i think is one of the major cons.
Workload and assignments are helpful but to certain extent, after some time they become tiring and hectic to manage.

Tution Fees for every year is different, as for the year 2024 it cummulates to be around 19.5 LPA, it has been increasing at a steady rate. There is some merit cum need scholarships provided by the college. There are certain laptop schemes to help those without one. After entering the college, there are many opportunities to avail scholarships provided by different third parties, these are also merit cum need based. These are of different types such as full scholarships and for one year etc…. .Hostel fees for one semester is around 52K of which 10K is security deposit.

JAC has a policy for its college to increase fees by 25% per year. So every year fees get increased by 25% of the previous. The scholarship is there at the campus. One is a Merit-Based Fee Waiver and the Other is income based. Both provide a 25-100% waiver of fees.

Strict deadlines and plagiarism policy with may lead to various backs in courses for just silly and minor mistakes

Fess structure is quite high as compared to other colleges. It is around 5 lakhs including hostel and mess per year. Scholarship opportunities are there too avail for realted students whose parental income is in the range to avail scholarship.
