The faculty-to-student ratio in semester 1 is 300 students in a section whose class is taken by one professor, so I would say 1 to 300. Despite the faculty-to-student ratio, the professor is still approachable and interactive with the class; as I already mentioned, IIITD Faculties are better than some IITs. The semester is about 4 months, and every subject grade depends from professor to professor. Some professors take marks for attendance, and some don't. Some conduct graded quizzes every week, while some conduct them every 2 weeks. Some professors give assignments every week; some don't; it all depends on the professor. In our course of HCI, we have assignments every week, and besides that, we graded quizzes every 2 weeks and mindset and ended exams. All our classes are in two major buildings in the Old lecture hall complex or in the new lecture hall complex; due to this, it is really easy for us to attend the next class after one, unlike in DTU, where you have to go on this building for your chemistry class then 2km away another building where your next class is going to take place. My favourite professor is Pankaj Jalote, sir, who taught us Python in semester 1; he really made coding concepts like recursion and OOP so easy, and I love it. There is not a single faculty whom I don't like; all our professors teach very well.

The course structure, curriculum, exam pattern at Indraprastha Institute of information technology Delhi is considered to be tough . They provide each and every skills related to placements opportunities or coding skills.
Faculty ie really approchable with their office hours always given you have also Teaching assistants which help you a lot and a very fun environment based on that. Exams are usually tough. Students fail if they dont study

As courses are very updated and professors are too much helping the diffculty levels of courses are so high and there is a concept of plagiarism and if anyone found doing so then that person will face too much.
There are plenty of teaching assistants available for each student it is about 1 ta for 20 students. They all gave office timings. Even the proffessors take doubts and help students all the time. Students can avail help from any senior. its chill.
for B.Tech this college has 6 courses 4 with computer science and 2 with Electronics with a min of 8 semster. for first semester or freshsers all students (600) have to study same 5 subjects and from 2nd they got branch oriented and since it's under JAC it follows the credit system you have to complete 156 credits through different courses like 4 or 2 or 1 credit courses alongn with 4 credit of SG(Self growth) and CW[Community Work]. the course structure is well designed and up to date but the main thing is that since all semester are 4 months only the work load of every subject is intense because of close deadline and no of assignments + projects but this all hardhips make you ready for the corporate world or further studies. e

The college has a enough number of courses and professors. All the professors have quite experienced background and good in there field. Faculty from every department are mostly chill leaving the ECE department, the faculty in this department are mostly rude and strict . They don't bother about the workload or overall class performance. Almost half of the students have atleast one back in ECE department and very low grades. Although there are also some professors like Pravesh Biyani who are kind and chill type professor.

Faculty of the college is generally very experienced and well trained, they can be very helpful for people with interest in research. Faculty have assigned time slots which they keep to clear doubts, accessibility of teachers is good. There are TA's who are alloted for a group of roughly 18-20 students. There are graded exams almost every two days.

The relationship between students and faculty is amazing. We get faculty's office hours every week which we can use for clearing our doubts or any other problem we're facing regarding the course. There are no specific names of professors who are best in teaching their course ( all of them teach very well). The professors keep the class engaged i.e. one of reasons students attend classes. There are primarily 5 courses in the first semester ( IP,LA,DC,COM,HCI). Although the first sem is really easy but study at IIITD is hectic as you need to give quizzes and submit assignments withing the deadline. The marks distribution consists of quizzes, assignments, projects, lab sessions, midsems and endsems.
