Course Curriculum Overview

Since most of the students will go for software jobs or corporate job to be precise so tackle this this college gievs you a ton of workload alot, and it's Teaching Assistant system prof will taught you ask your doubt from either TA or directly to prof, odd semester that is 1 or 3 or 5 or 7 will start from early AUG to DEC and even that is 2 or 4 or 6 or 8 will start from JAN to MAY plus you'll be have a extra summer semester in which you can do the exxtra courses or sg, cw that will be offer in this term. the mid sem will be after 8-9 weeks and end sems will be after 4 months like in dec or may. You should be focuses on every part of weightage to maintain a good grade thorugh out you course. As CSD major from the 2nd sem workload is going to be insane mostly you'll be having 2 design courses every sem so their aside from thei assignment, projects you will daily submissions, in-class excercise etc, which will be graded.

Placement Experience

4

you can check our college site for latest placements stats, even the college isn't that old but it has better placements statistics and now comparing to DTU or NSUT, with average of 22.04 lpa and highest 49. somthing lpa for btech, i didn't know everything about placements since i'm just a second year (3rd sem) student.

Fees and Financial Aid

It's a state goverment college and it's fees is very high comparing to other JAC counselling colleges just for btech it's around 20 lacs excluding hostel fees. for 2023 batch, I will be paying 19,55,000 as tution fees and 10,000 security deposit plus 2,000 as security deposit which is one time. 2nd Year - 4,75,000 3rd Year - 5,00,000 4th Year - 5,30,000 So I have paid my first year as 2,25,000 two times. fees is non negotiable and same for every categories for all student whose admission mode is JAC through jee mains there are mode of admission for B.Tech and their fees structure is different. if you got under 1000 rank in jee mains you financial aid from chairman of IIIT D as zero tution fees. there are govt- central and state scholarship their complete info is available on official iiit d site.

Campus Life

3

Since I didn't opt for the hostel so i'm dayscholar so most of iddn't get to see the over all campus life like playing in evening or late night early mornign running late night studeis in library or labs but whenever i;m in college for classes i try to spend most of the time in either lab or in sports block, it has swimming pool, indoor games arena, football, tennis court, basket ball , cricket practice net, volleyball, 2 gyms, and for study areas aside from lectures hall, classroom we have labs with highend and latest desktop and whole library building with different rooms or common rooms both quiet or group studies. I am not much of a social guy i avoid social clubs but it has varitey of clubs and society like paper'n'salt, dark code, etc

Admission

I didn't just choose this college because of it's infrastructure or great placement records, yeah it's my list of admission but not the first choice my first choice is DTU but because of lower rank i didn't get this so i have to opt for this but life has it's way now i fo thruogh this to be a good software engineer as well as good responsible man, after the last round of counselling i got DTU but at last moment at 31 july night's the result of upgradation round got out and from dtu lower branch i got in IIIT Delhi's computer science in beginning it's a bit expensive but we manage it, i got admission through JAC on the basis of jee mains rank admission process is look tidious if you don't know about it at all like the documents or procedures etc. after getting the seat i have to pay the remaining amount of first semseter aside from the seat allocation fees before the semseter start that is some 1.5 lac, 1.42 lac to be precise.

Faculty

for B.Tech this college has 6 courses 4 with computer science and 2 with Electronics with a min of 8 semster. for first semester or freshsers all students (600) have to study same 5 subjects and from 2nd they got branch oriented and since it's under JAC it follows the credit system you have to complete 156 credits through different courses like 4 or 2 or 1 credit courses alongn with 4 credit of SG(Self growth) and CW[Community Work]. the course structure is well designed and up to date but the main thing is that since all semester are 4 months only the work load of every subject is intense because of close deadline and no of assignments + projects but this all hardhips make you ready for the corporate world or further studies. e

Night Life

5

The around college area is not so good in late night since everyone will be in their home and there are no camera out side of college but inside it's pretty safe you can take taxi from main in late night to hangout ,the college doesn't restricit any enttrance for it's student even in mid night either it's a girl or a boy, you can leave you dormitory any time you want we have our own cafe inside the old acad. brewbakes previously it was a CCD and two NEscafe stalls one around hostel area

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi Technological University - [DTU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

I didn't get this college because it's high cutoff in jee mains JAC counseling

Netaji Subhas University of Technology - [NSUT] | Master of Technology [M.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

I apply first but when I go to this college for document verification it's very far from my home compare to IIIT Delhi and since I'm a day scholar so i prefer IIIT over NSut.

Placement stats are great cause at least you can have 15 LPA as average and nowdays it is even higher around 18 to 20 LPA. Internships are also fine and all you have to do is skills that can compete with your peers.

The curriculum is really good. It helped me a lot to know what all skills i need to get a good job and help me understand the industry. I've leanrt a lot of soft skills. The only things that dissapoints me is the frequent quizzes and assingments which doenst allow students to do self studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course helps to prepare students for real-world applications and further academic pursuits is equally crucial. well the institute needs to improve in some areas, like the timing of exams should be carefully planned in order to reduce students' stress and the difficulty should challenge students without being overly daunting. A semester in IIT Delhi is nearly of 4 months during which they conduct a mid sem and end sem exams.

As AI came into our daily use, it has been a highly spreading skill that is making a lot of jobs in the market and i do have a major interest in this field. As this is my first year so nothing has been taught yet about AI but in upcoming years or maybe just next year onwards thing might get started. Exams are held in three terms Mid term 1,2 and End Term which are not much hard to score marks.

IIIT Delhi provides good on campus placement offers, but I guess due to recession the placement were worst last year. Otherwise the college has above 90% placements in each branch. Enough companies come to recruit here but you have to be skilled enough to qualify for the placement. CSSS and CSD are the worst branches in terms of placement here, but not that much as compared in general.
