I like to play football and I also in the institute football team , this part of college is very pleasurable for me.
having friends , reach out to people from different parts of the country.
and getting one of the prestigious college for graduation.

Dislikes

the attendance policy , it's like a burden .
classes ,work load , early to get ready for classes .

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is well planed as students get cahnce to change their department after 1st year ,according to there merit. exams are held 2 times in a sem. minor and major , and quizes are held in between the exams .

Class Size: 900Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Don't know the actual fee i will pay as it depends on semester . Due to my low family income I don't have to any tuition fee here. I pay for hostel and admition in starting, it almost cause 70 thousand and for second sem i paid around 14 thiusand .

Campus Life

there are lots and lots of amazing clubs and events occur here. I havn't explored library enough . a variety of sports are available here , one of the interesting club is enactus ittd (it is social entrepreneur)

Admission

as it stood in the capital city Delhi and it will provide a vast opportunity to someone like me who come from remote areas . i didn't applied to other colleges . the admission process was easy as it almost done online and we just need to verify the docuents here .

Faculty

there is a good faculty to student ratio like we have enough faculties to ask our doubts and anything related to acads. Till now I am not able make enough contact with profs as I was focused on football.

Night Life

gym and cafe are available at every hostel , nightlife here is amazing , you can enjoy the nightmess foods with your friends . rajdhani is a food corner , it quite famous another one is near aravali hostel.

Placement Experience:

The placement was not too good it was bad the main reason was like it have not in better place if student want to grab an offer he do offcampus apply so they get job .The companies visted our collage was tcs ,infosys , wipro and sometime Amazon. The highest pacakge was offers in 2020 for almost like 30LPA after that non of them get that much placement .In simple wprd you are the reason of your too get placed in companies . In our collage not fang companies offerd placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester all students are eligible for campus placements there are almost more than 30+ companies come to make offers and don't recall the names but almost 34 lakh per annum is the highest package they offer and some lucky students also get 80 lakh per annum package almost 80 percent students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In each sem we have to give exams twice - mid terms and end terms. They are not much difficult the level is moderate. Teaching method is also good bit sometimes they are not able to complete the syllabus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The corses are well designed And related to your curiculum evey course are relevent for student the course they provied in first sem are Math,computational thinking,Intoduction to south asia,ENG,Phy. most of collages have mechanical in their first sem where they have to do weilding ,crafting etc which have no use in course of CS.

IITD is an old IIT and has an entrepreneurial atmosphere making it my first choice.I applied for the some other colleges I am comparing with ahead. Fulfilling experience at IITD.

Bachelors is required with 55% atleast. JAM score is required. Cut off for obc was 33 as far as I remember . The entrance test tests your quantitative and qualitative ability. All the details are given on the website of iit delhi or just typing JAM would do. JAM gives you the opportunity to do your msc economics from iits. Admission to IITD occurs through JEE Advanced; In which an individual had to first clear JEE Mains then ADV. They have to prepare for three subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics; concepts must be clear from the base level. As soon as the application form will be released; news will come in newspapers since it's a national-level exam or you can search on the Official Jee mains website. Application fees for Jee Mains in 2022: 650/- and for Jee ADV: 2800/-(not sure). Application dates will be released on the official website. To avail of reservation benefits you must have a category certificate that had been renewed within 6 months from counseling (FOR OBC-NCL). If from SC-ST, then can use any certificate.
