IIIT Delhi offers admission to the B.Tech programme and the admission will be based on the marks secured in JEE Mains and JAC. Higher Secondary Examination qualified students will be eligible for admission. Admission to some seats of B.Tech (ITSS) only for Delhi-based students of Non-Science background will be done on the basis of marks in 10+2. Some seats in B.Tech (CSD) only for Delhi-based students will be filled on the basis of a valid score in UCEED.

In my first year we have to pay 435000 in which the 425000 is tuition fees and 10000 for security the we can take after graduate And for 2,3,4 year is 425000 this is all tuition fees But for the 2023 batch its now 450000 and for 2024 its changed

- The things I like about the college is the infrastructure, building, campus, labs, gym, canteen, hostels are the things I like about the college.
- The another thing I like about the college is placements, The placements are very nice and better than other colleges.

- The thing I dislike about the college is academic syllabus.
- The thing I dislike about the college is tutorials early in the morning.

You will find the college very expensive as it costs around 4.5 lakh per year only the college fees, if you purchase the hostel then it will be around 5 lakh to you. But, you will find the scholarships that will help you to get benifits there are many scholarships you will get to know on the iiitd financial assistance website. one of the scholarship is merit cum scholarship. i didn't get any job till now. But placements are nice of our college. The placements are very nice.

Downside of IIIT delhi is its fees . Its approximately 500 k / per year and there is a continuous fee hike . IIIT delhi also offers a financial assistance for students who can't afford. For students whose family income is below 2.5 lac , IIIT Delhi offers 100% fee wavier , for students in the slab of 2.5-6 lac , there is a 50% wavier and for students in slab 6-8 lac , there is 25% wavier . However, currently this income linked scholarship is not operating as it was supported by delhi govt mcm scheme and from the last 2-3 years , Delhi govt has stopped releasing mcm funds . There other scholarships as well like aspire , fast retailing etc. IIIT Delhi informs it students about various scholarships regularly through emails

- Great sports facilities such as football, tennis badminton etc.

- College fees is too high, around 25 lakh which is huge amount for a midlle class person,

The fees of this institute is around 25 lakhs rupees including hostels, and if we talk about scholarship, the institute provide scholarship for only delhi students which is not came from last 2 years and there are one more scholarship from delhi government "e-district scholarship' which is for all students including outside delhi students but this scholarship is also not came from last 2 years.

- I liked the infrastructure of the institute. It is fully air-conditioned.

- I didn't like the strict plagiarism policy of the institute.

- Infrastructure is very good , all the classes and library and every building are very good.

- Workload is too much here on first sem you have to make yourself calm.

Should I pick CS & bio sciences (CSB) or pick ECE in IIIT Delhi, considering CSB is a new branch this year?
Truth be told, n=both CSB and ECE at IIT Delgi will be excellent academic decisions because IIIT Delhi is well-known for imparting quality education. You should consider your own inlciation whole choosing between CSB and ECE rather than the newness of the branch and its credibility because, at the end of the day, your interests matter more than anything. You won't be able to excel at even an old and well-established branch if you have no interest in it while may excel in a new branch if you are genuinely interested in it. So, the opportunities you will be offered depend on your passions.
You can go through the course descriptions mentioned on the institute's website. CSB might be a relatively new branch but IIIT Delhi has been offering biology courses. You can check the profiles of the faculty.
Remember, a new branch may impose certain disadvantages but so will a branch that does not intrigue you genuinely. There won't be any major difference in terms of higher studies and placements.
So, choose wisely!
