The hostels are good at IIITD. There are mainly 3 hostels i.e. H1, H2 and old boys hostel. H1 and H2 being recently built are great in infra and facilities in comparison to old boys hostel. The room comes with double sharing option. Room has two beds, two cupboards, AC( works from 7:30pm to 7:30am). There are common washrooms for students on each floor. Hostels cost 40k per semester. The mess is included withing hostel fees and is pretty decent in comparison to pther colleges.

Hostels are really nice We get a bed(no matttress), a table with drawers, overhead drawers, a wooden slab and an almirah. There's a fridge and mircrowave at the ground floor of each hostel, and a common room with a foosball table, sofa, table chairs and a really large tv to watch movies and shows No curfew timings there are two washrooms on each floor of the hostel The best part is we can call for the cleaning services whenever we want, room cleaning, if the washrooms are dirty we can get them cleaned too and the washrooms are anyways cleaned every day early morning, and properly cleaned. The mess food is really bad to say the least, it's barely edible and not at all sanitary, hair found many times, if you think you can eat canteen food, then you are wrong, coz canteen food is equally bad. Many just order from the Dhabas nearby as it affordable and tasty too. Hostel fees is 34k per semester, with an extra 10k one time security charges, but the hostel are really limited and hard to get

So hostel provide AC in summer days from 6 PM to 8 AM. You are provided with a study table cupboard and a bed. The food is actually quite decent and overall is eatable. The menu changes every week so there's variety. To get hostel you need to have a house 35Km away from college at least. The hostel fees is high as similar to a rented apartment. Totally nearby locality 1-2km of college is not good to stay in you need to look a bit further away to get good accommodations.

Hostel is pretty good. You are provided bed, almirah, desk and stuff. Washrooms are clean and there is fms for room cleaning in every 2 days.I find it pretty good considering the price. Mess food is mid. You are an outside Delhi person you'll def get the hostel and many Delhites also get the hostel.

Hostel rooms are too good. You will get a bed a table chair and reading light also. Also you will get AC in the room. And there are no electricity charges for that. The rent of stay in a hostel for a semester is 34k which is the only thing that i can say is value for money

If you live more than 40 km away from the college, the hostel facility might be a good option for you. The hostels are known for their cleanliness and good maintenance. Each room is equipped with an air conditioner to ensure a comfortable stay. The mess food quality is decent, though the rooms are a bit costly at around Rs 40k per semester, so it's important to keep this in mind while considering the hostel as an option. However, getting a hostel room can be quite challenging due to high demand, so it's recommended to apply early.

There are 3 boys hostel and one girls hostel. The new boys hostel is comparatively better than the old boys hostel in my opinion. The rooms in the hostels are really good, with AC and the bathrooms are very clean here. On the other hand, I wouldn't recommend renting a PG nearby. First of all it's too expensive and secondly, it won't live up to your expectations.

IIIT Delhi hostels are newly built, and well constructed. They are clean and have all the facilities.
The hostels have all-weather ACs and good Wi-Fi connectivity. You’ll get 300 Mbps dual link, 802.11n routers, great bandwidth, and ethernet links. The washrooms are very clean.
There is no separate hostel for freshers. You’ll be sharing a common hostel with your seniors. Senior students are given preference for single rooms. For hostel allotment, students from other states are given first preference.
Boys’ hostel has double seater, while girls’ hostel has triple seater sharing rooms. Sharing rooms are slightly bigger than single seater rooms. But all rooms have the same furnishing. Each student gets a bed, a study table, one almirah, and a few drawers.
You need not worry about hostel facilities at IIIT Delhi as they are top notch.
NIT Jalandhar
NIT Jalandhar has 7 old hostels and one Mega hostel. The Mega hostel has 3 blocks with a capacity of 800 each.
Hostel 1 and 2 are for first-year students only.
Hostel 4 and 5 is for postgraduates
For girls, there are 2 old hostels and one mega hostel
Hostel 6 and 7 have very small rooms but are pretty famous for their food.
Old hostels don’t have Wi-Fi connections but only LAN ports.
The rooms at Mega hostel are bigger and newer. The food is also better here.
The timings rule is more strict at old hostels than at Mega hostels.
IIT Delhi
IIT Delhi has an air-conditioned common mess for both boys and girls.
During vacations, a special mess is run for both boys and girls
It is compulsory for all hostel residents to avail the mess facilities.
Apart from the common mess, there are two cafeterias, one located in the academic building and the other in the common mess building which caters to the needs of the students and faculty.
One can roam freely across the campus at any time of the day.
The hostel has a Common room for people to spend their leisure time. It is decked with a TV, newspapers, and magazines.
Sports and other recreational facilities are available on the upper floors of the dining building.
I hope the above points gave you a clear understanding of the hostel facilities of the two institutes.
