Course Curriculum Overview

According to my entrance exam rank this was the best suitable course and collage I was eligible for. Faculty to students ratio is quite good and helps in managing crowd and substantial growth. As far as i know , faculty must be qualified with a foreign degree and PhD and many more in respective fields. Teaching methods are very comfortable as a student and creates a minimal gap between both for understanding & learning

Internships Opportunities

After 4th semester, the internship process gets started for the students. Multiple companies with all the big names attached are there with thier offers for the students. Stipend varies company to company.

Placement Experience

After semester 6 , one is eligible for CaMPUS palcements. Around 170+ companies with 600+ offers for 550 students. Highest packages are of around in crore and avg. Package of CSE is 21 LPA 100 percentage of students are getting placed

Fees and Financial Aid

Fess structure is quite high as compared to other colleges. It is around 5 lakhs including hostel and mess per year. Scholarship opportunities are there too avail for realted students whose parental income is in the range to avail scholarship.

Academic life is tough , reasons are plagiarism policy, stirct & multiple deadlines from the very first semester. Culturally college is doing well from the past in organising fest and other events as well. Odessey'23. Library is well maintained and availability of all books are there for all

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are highly well maintained in terms of heigine and infrastructure. There is almira, wardrobe, study table lamps , ethernet connection, fire alarms, window, beds as and after all of these there is still proper spacing left

Hostel Fee: INR 34000 per year

Admission

Admission through JEE mains entrance exams whose prerequisite are 10th&12th grades. Then councelling process by NTA . All of these information are available and notified first on NTA website. State quota reservation are very helpful for the admission gets 85© seats reservation.

From Classrooms to Campus ; my dtu journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

NIT Delhi: A Balanced Blend of Academics, Opportunities, and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students get hired, obviously, and they get a decent package. Highest package from our college is 52 LPA. Average package is 7-8 LPA. Highest package off campus is 1.2 Cr. Per annum.
