Likes

Our college is located in Okhla and therefore all the places in Delhi can be easily commuted with.
Our infrastructure is just too good as corporate box styled building and huge auditoriums to have events done smoothly.
Our course is tough and is even advanced than that of IITs.

Dislikes

We have a uniform culture and that is something which is unbearable at this stage.

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer Science and Biosciences is one of the most unique courses and our college is the only one that provides us this course. Even IITs doesn't have this course and therefore this college became an automatic choice and the best part is that our college course is also the most advanced one will ever see.

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 425000 per year

Placement Experience

All the ed-tech and IT companies who needs tech or deals in astronomy hires us. I mean particularly out branch Students as we are taught such things and therefore premium is also paid to us as average placements of our course is of 10 lakhs an annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

IIITD is a college that has given me everything and is next to IIT. The fees is little higher than that of IITs as our college fees is 4.25 lakhs a year excluding the hostel fees. However, we do have many scholarships and Natna and others help students with EWC and SC/ST category to get 30-50% off on their fees.

Campus Life

Our college is huge and it is in Okhla, so Okhla Metro Station is nearby. Odyssey, is our annual fest and Astronomy is our annual tech fest. Both have unique characteristics and students are given the license to express themselves the way they want. Campus is also quite big and the main academic tower is centrally air-conditioned too.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are in house and therefore its the best that can happen. 8 boys hostels and each one of them are air-conditioned. Fees too is reasonable as 76000 for a year and 43000 mess fees is all that we have to pay for our stay and food.

Admission

Admission process is same as IIT as after IITs, IIITs are filled and so for those who miss out on their favourite IITs, IIITs come as a boon. In IIITs, IIITD is the top ranked and therefore students with 6-8k in general category are the ones who get admission here.

Faculty

Our faculties are way too many for my liking and this is perhaps something which one can either adore or complain. It al depends on mindset. Mindset is everything is what our faculties have taught us and ever since I have applied that in my life, i have given a lot chores of course and life done easily.

Night Life

Okhla is close to Nehru Place which houses many top pubs and one such is Socials. It is one of the best in Delhi and for nightlife that's the best party place as it is opened till 3 am. It's lovely to have fun there.

Placement Experience:

Honest life at IITD

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course so that I can acquire knowledge about textile technology and help my father in his business ( he is an owner of a textile industry).there are 12-15 faculties and a number of students is 90. the faculties are well qualified and experienced. My Life After JEE

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements after 1st year itself. The highest package was around 16 lakh per month and the average package was around 1 lakh per month. Around 75% of students get placed every year.

An honest review

Placement Experience:

The students become applicable for jobs from the 6th semester. Companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Facebook etc. The biggest package of the college goes up to 2 Crore Rupees and the average package is 12 Lakh rupees. The profile offered includes Software development, Product management, and Data analyst. 90 per cent of students get placed. No plans as yet.

Placement Experience:

There is on campus placement. You can register on portal of OCS IITD and you can apply to various company, submit resume and give entrance exams and all the shortlisting processs. Average package is around 9-11 LPA and there are many students who get placement outside India and also 1 cr + package.

Intern Season

Placement Experience:

Campus Placements are decent 12-XYZ Lpa on average but high workload and pressure especially during the December placement session. The lowest package could be 7-8Llpa, highest - is 4cr. All the top companies, Google, Microsoft, Bajaj, PwC, EY, Consulting & Finance companies, Startups, SDE roles, Tech, and Noncore are decent. but Core placements are not good. Many people opt for noncore placements. Placement -90-93% of those who sit.

Overall I think My college is best.It was full of memories, I'm doing job now and it's because of my college.

Placement Experience:

As i heard from the seniors, the placement are pretty neat . They get good packages. They sure that everyone get placed . But to get that you need pretty decent GPA . And this branch is versatile in the job world , so its good.According to the placement records, around 94-95% of the students got placed from our college. The highest salary package offered here is 36 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Many companies. In summer breaks also, students are allowed to join social internship in 1st year.

I applied to several top colleges including NSUT,DTU IIIT Hyderabad and few other colleges i got confirmend admission offers from NSUT(ECE) and iiitd cse and eventually chose iiitd beacuse of its strong academics focus on computer science excellent faculty and modern infrastructure the research culture and the curriculum at iiitd rellay stood out compared to the others. It's more aligned with current industry trends like AL amd ML I didn't get IIIT Hyderabad cse because of my jee main rank didn't ,make to the cutoff the competition is super intense there ,espically for cse and i fell short by a small margin but honestly i don't regret it IIITD offers a comparable level of educarion with a strong coding culture snd great placement records The admission process for IIITD straightforward but slightly different from other institutes .For Btech addmission are primarily through JEE mains via JAC for delhi based students they also take admission frommthe student that come from uceed and they alsi consider class 12 percentile as a part of eligiblity for a few program the cutoff of jee mains goes really high for cs branches and it even more tiugher for outside delhi student...Read More

IIIT-DELHI Best college of Delhi?

I choose this college over dtu, nsit and other delhi colleges as the batch ratio is small which matters a lot during placements season as in our year batch size is 550 approx and dtu computer science and nsut cs alone has more students (approx 600 students) compare to our whole batch size. And in our time placement percentage was 100% and average ctc was 18-19 lpa. For admission here you have to enrolled in jac counseling and admission is based on jee mains score....Read More
