Likes

The campus life is vibrant because of the events that keep happening, it keeps me energised after the study stress . It’s social , it’s entertaining and it’s a way to make friends and get to know new people
The infrastructure is beautiful. The lecture building and halls are so modern and minimalistic . The tutorial rooms and Research building is really something to marvel at . There’s flowers everywhere and overall it’s a very pretty campu
The faculty is nice and well versed in their field. They’re also easy to approach in case of doubts and try their best to explain the material to us . They’re really great at putting their point across and making sure we understand

Dislikes

The food in the mess isn’t that great and a bit bland . And choices are a bit limited. It’s not very bad but could be definitely improved
The hostels are nice but i feel like the rooms are a bit small . And the washrooms could be cleaner that they are
The course is a bit fast paced for people from commerce or humanities background because we lack a little knowledge physics . And there could be efforts made to help us out

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because i wanted to do a social science course because i liked it but i was also interested in learning coding alongside of it so this was a perfect opportunity for me We have numerous faculty members, I'm not sure but atleast 1:50 . We have big lecture halls and are even divided into different sections . The faculty is extremely qualified, most of them have done PHDs from foreign universities and IITs . They teach through PPTs and ipad . Also take continuous evaluation and assignments. Term exams always happen on the specific date mentioned in the academic calendar. The exams are a bit difficult but can be passed if put enough effort and review what the professors have taught

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The feek hike of 10% every year and it costs 4 lakhs per year ( 2 lakhs per semester) then there is also additional cost of hostels and food . I didn't get any scholarships and financial assistance and job .

Campus Life

We have an annual fest called 'odyssey' which is conducted in January and a tech fest called 'esya' whixh happens in august The library has a good amount of books and journals ranging from academic to fictional Classrooms are well equipped with sturdy desks, , AC's white boards and projector and podium Many sports and extracurricular activities keep happening in the college. We have our own IPL and even did a childhood game event recently. We have events like Bollywood day , neon night and dandiya night We have Enactus IIITD which is a studen chapter in the global network of enactus teams . We have two project under Enactus - Well-being adda and Hidayat

Admission

For my course half of the Seats were through JAC and remaining for those who have done Maths but not have done physics and chemistry in class XII (admissions based on clas XII marks) The application form , application fees and dates can be found on the official website iiitd.ac.in under the admission tab Improvement i would like to see is for my cousin a lot of details were difficult to find and ambiguous so i would like that gets clearer and laid out in a way that it's easier to find

Placement Experience:

From second year onwards... student are given access to Traning and placement department... Most 2nd, 3rd years are eligible for intership offers and 3rd years are eligible for job offers. Ebullient (85LPA) is the highest offer provided, Avg package is around 17LPA. but but only 37% student has been placed this FY till now (placements are still going on)

In Delhi technological University , the campus placements are very high and students placed on campus. Delhi technological University Are very good at campus placements. Over 350 to 400 companies reach delhi technological university for on campus hiring of students.

Placement Experience:

3rd and 4th year students are eligible for placements, less students from 3rd year Amazon, google, atlassian visited this college, less offers for high packages Highest packages are 1.3cpa, 95lpa and also there are some packages over 50lpa Lowest are 3lpa, in mass recruitment people get 3-4lpa In 2022, placement numbers are good, but in 2023 2024 less placement offers as compared to total students My plans are try to find off campus placement, but also sit in on campus placement

Placement Experience:

All the ed-tech and IT companies who needs tech or deals in astronomy hires us. I mean particularly out branch Students as we are taught such things and therefore premium is also paid to us as average placements of our course is of 10 lakhs an annum.

Placement is so good for our branch it's 18 lpa and go much higher but you have to work hard for it and gain knowledge and some big companies also much for placement it's better to challenge your self

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is really nice approx 70-80% students got placed with very nice pavkage. The packages are also really nice. Some MNC's offer very high pavkage also. The average package here is 7 lakh per annum.

Overview of DTU

Placement Experience:

Students are available to get placed starting sem 7, the placements of my college are great, it's fairly easy to get placed, most students get placed by the end of sem 8, Companies like Adobe, Google, Microsoft, Amazon come to our college, the highest placed student this year was 80 lakhs, all the companies mentioned above took atleast 4-10, students. Around 80% students are placed for sure, My plans after getting the degree is to become a content creator whole doing my job, trying to balance everything, also i have plans to start my own business

Starting of my Journey

I didn't just choose this college because of it's infrastructure or great placement records, yeah it's my list of admission but not the first choice my first choice is DTU but because of lower rank i didn't get this so i have to opt for this but life has it's way now i fo thruogh this to be a good software engineer as well as good responsible man, after the last round of counselling i got DTU but at last moment at 31 july night's the result of upgradation round got out and from dtu lower branch i got in IIIT Delhi's computer science in beginning it's a bit expensive but we manage it, i got admission through JAC on the basis of jee mains rank admission process is look tidious if you don't know about it at all like the documents or procedures etc. after getting the seat i have to pay the remaining amount of first semseter aside from the seat allocation fees before the semseter start that is some 1.5 lac, 1.42 lac to be precise....Read More
