Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose electrical engineering because I get it accoding to my jee mains rank. Also I like current electricity ,electrostat , magnetostat so I choose it.The couse curriculum is good in labs we get to know the real application of the concepts taught in theory classes. Some faculty are not upto the mark or even very much poor with no teaching skills and rude behaviour .The faculty should need to be improved.

Internships Opportunities

5

Nsut has a good internship opportunity. Many companies including all top companies like Google, microsoft, adobe, texas instruments, ongc, nvidia and many more visit campus for internship as well as placement .Tech companies require good tech skills in dsa, web development, etc and core companies require good core knowledge.

Placement Experience

4

Campus placements begin in final or fourth year. So from 7th semester students become eligible for on campus placement. From 5th semester or 3rd year students are eligible for on campus internships with very good package. In Nsut all top companies like Google, microsoft ,adobe, amazon, flipkart and many more visit.Around 300 companies visit each year. Highest package in 2024 is 83lpa in cse branch and 18 lpa average. In cse placement percentage is 70%, and in ee it is lower around 40%.

Fees and Financial Aid

For 2024-2028 batch in NSUT the fees structure is as follows: 1st year: 240000 2nd year: 250000 3rd year: 270000 4th year: 290000 For 1st year:- Tuition fees-77000 , University fees-97850, student fund-24300, facility and service charges- 17850, chhatra vitya evam protsahan kosh(cvspk)- 8000 , Examination fees- 15000 For2nd year:- Tuition fees- 97000, University fees- 77000, student fund-26000, facility and service charges- 26000, Chhatra vitya evam protsahan kosh (cvspk)- 9000, Examination fees-15000 For 3rd year:- Tuition fees-108000, University fees-82000, student funds- 27200, facility and service charges-27800, chhatra vitya evam protsahan kosh (cvspk)- 10000, Examination fees-15000 For 4th year:- Tuition fees- 113000, University fees-86500, student funds-32500, facility and service charges-32000, chhatra vitya evam protsahan kosh (cvspk)- 10000, Examination fees-15000. For other branches fee structure is same and increasing each year Scholarship information: 1- CVSPK-categories based on income. Upto 100% 2- merit cum means(mcm)- based on income upto 100% 3- NSP- based on income upto 100%

Campus Life

4

In Nsut , there are two fest held Moksha and Resonance (tech fest).Moksha is one of the famous fest in India and held in the month of April. The library is full of books and can be alloted easily For Ist year classrooms (apj) are fully air conditioned, with cctv, wifi , and very well furnished . For rest year students work is on going and the classrooms are constructed as like apj.. Sports facilities are great .But badminton court need to be improved it is not indoor. Various societies are available in the university.

Admission

I applied for Dtu also and I was getting electrical engineering there and also in NSUT.But considering the distance I choose Nsut over Dtu as I live in Uttam nagar. Admission process- In Nsut admission is done based on jee mains rank and percentile. For general category : To get cse you need above 98 percentile, for lower branches 96+ percentile.

Faculty

3

Faculty to student ration is like 1 faculty for around 90 students the ratio is fine. Some faculties are great and some are rude and strict. I don't like the ankit sir who taught principle of electrical engineering and majority students dislike him because of his rude and bad behaviour. A semester includes 2class tests ,mid sem and end sem for each subject. The level of exams are easy to moderate and if prepared well then no issue can pass easily.

Night Life

5

College includes gym with latest equipment, library with many books ,open till 6pm for day scholars and for hosteller it's open more than that. College is surrounded by good locality with private gyms and libraries for 24/7 .Dwarka mor is at walking distance and vegas mall also which covers everything.

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi Technological University - [DTU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electrical Engineering)

Don't opt for dtu ee due to the far distance issue.Dtu is very far from my home so don't opt for it.

Delhi Technological University - [DTU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electrical Engineering)

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university doesn't beat around the bush while deciding the courses. They have picked only the subjects and the curriculum that are suitable for our field and focus on making us future-ready. Some subjects might seem a little fast-paced, but if you are consistent enough, you won't face any problems. It is safe to say that the exams and things taught in most the subjects are same to that of its so there is no lacking behind in that aspect.
