Course Curriculum Overview

4

The dtu curriculum is well structured ,most subject balance theroy and practical work and labs/projects help build real skills The curriculum should be heavily focused on practical learning instead of theoritcal learning and the student to teacher ration should be improved the exams are easy the mid sem happens in end of september and endsem takes place in end of november

Internships Opportunities

4

the internship opportunities provided by the college is quiet diverse with companies from tech core engeineering and startups. Most students secure internships through the college palcement cellsor external platformsand guidance provided by the faculty is helpful during the process well i am a fresher so i dont know much about but yeah my seiors told me the internships are quiet good and more than half of students get them

Placement Experience

4

DTU has one of the best placements records among engineering colleges.Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester.Top companies like google microsoft ,qualcomm, airtel visit the college every year with many offers.the highedt package often go above 1 cr for cs/it while the average package around all other branches stay around 12-15 lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for complete 4 years of btech course is around 11.1 lakhs indian rupees which means around 2.6 lakhs per year yes the fees increases over the years but the change in fees is slight and not drastic its ariund 3k to 10k every upcoming year yes the fees is divided in sections like lab fees, tution fees, registration fees, admission fees ,caution fees etc For students that belongs to general and OBCs the have to pay full tuition fees that is around 1.7 lakhs to 1.9 lakhs and for sc/st students their whole tuition fees get waivered caution money is paid by each student which gets refunded after graduation the fees is ten thousand rupees Studens have to pay admission fees only one time all students also have to pay laboratory fees each year that costs around 20 to 25 k rupees Students from minorities such as obc or sc or sts get category based scholarship if their family annual income is less than 4.5 lakhs there are also scholarship from private associoations such as airtel bharti scholarship

Campus Life

4

my overall campus life experience has been positive with a healthy mix of academics and socail exposure. The campus hosts several annual cultural and technical fests that brings great energy, participation and opportunities to interact with students from various campuses. sports facilities and extracurriculars options are diverse and students run clubs are very active throughout the year helping students build skills and friendships beyond academics, the overall environment is safe and engaging and supoortive making capus life enjoyable with plenty of learning and growing

Admission

I applied to several colleges including Nits, iits and ipu colleges, but dtu stood out because of uts strong academic reputation, placemets and campus environment i didnt get the desired branch in nits because of high cutoffs but dtu offered a better branch at my rank the admission process was very simple through jac celhi website students were selected on the basis of their jee main performance cutofff were high this year but still i got a good branch

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio in my branch is not so good we got 62 students for one teacher but yeah teachers are genreally approachable outside the classroom for doubts and guidance I really Like the way Nitansh sir(chemistry professsor) teaches us and he is very friendly and he literally feels like home I did nt like chandra prakash singh maths professor he is kinda rude ,he teaches good but he is like not really approachable we have to makor exams each semester first is midsems and then comes endsem there are also assignments and quizes for internal marking passing is not diffiuclt but maintaining a good gc is kinda hard usually around 85 to 95 percent students pass the exams

Interview Experience

4

no there was no interview there was just jee main i got a decent rank so i got into the college yes there are many societies and you have to give interviews for them to get into them currently i am in Ehax and Kalakriti

Night Life

2

I am a dayscholar so i dont know much about camous life but as i heard from my batchmates and friends the night ilfe is bad as things get shut down like cafes and mess and canteen around 9 pm they even turn off the lights so it bad

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Placement Experience:

The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.
