- My friend got a scholarship so i can verify it truly happens and is a great opportunity for students with low parental income to ease their parent's financial pressure
- The college has really good placements, a lot of companies offer a lot of job opportunities and the packages are quite high as well.
- Faculty expertise: iit delhi often attracts experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. students benefit from their guidance and mentorship.
Dislikes
- The hostel facilities are not as good as expected the meal is too bad.
- The race academy curriculum at iit delhi can be intense and demanding a leading to high levels of stress and pressure among students
- 75 percentage criteria is not good. moreover, classes are whole day from 8am to 6pm.

- Faculties in IITD are one of the best ones in the world and many of them have had significant research experiences.
- Infrastructure is world class with access to the best learning resources in the world.
- Campus life is very exciting with opportunities to growth both professionally and personally.
Dislikes
- PG students don't get hostel in the first semester/
- Less PG student participation in campus activities and clubs despite being majority population in IIT Delhi.
- Rigid course structure for PG students with less chance to explore courses from other non technical branches.

Placement Experience:
There is no strict eligibility criteria for placements but most companies hire above 7.0 CGPA for MTech students.
Many big names like Samsung, google, QUALCOMM, Microsoft etc. hire from IIT delhi.
The highest package was 51 Ipa and average is 20 Ipa. Most profiles offered were SDE, system engineer and ML engineer.
The placement record was 100% and all students got placed.
I am currently planning on taking placement from IIT Delhi and then after sometime I will explore my own startup possibilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course workload is heavier, so it would prepare you for real-world work. Courses can be chosen from 2nd semester, so you are free to select courses of your likeness. There would be a minor exam and a major exam and a lot of assignments.

How are the IIT Delhi hostel rooms?

The IIT Delhi hostel rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. The names of IIT Delhi hostels are based on the names of hill ranges of India- Aravali, Girnar, Himadri, Jwalamukhi, Kailash, Karakoram, Kumaon, Nilgiri, Satpura, Shivalik, Udayagiri, Vindhyachal and Zanskar. All the hostel rooms are two-seater. All the rooms are equipped with beds and almirahs. Water coolers are allowed inside the rooms during the summer season. The hostels of IIT Delhi are facilitated with a mess, washing machines, and drinking water supply on each floor. Here are some pictures of the IIT Delhi hostel rooms-
