- My friend got a scholarship so i can verify it truly happens and is a great opportunity for students with low parental income to ease their parent's financial pressure
- The college has really good placements, a lot of companies offer a lot of job opportunities and the packages are quite high as well.
- Faculty expertise: iit delhi often attracts experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. students benefit from their guidance and mentorship.
Dislikes
- The hostel facilities are not as good as expected the meal is too bad.
- The race academy curriculum at iit delhi can be intense and demanding a leading to high levels of stress and pressure among students
- 75 percentage criteria is not good. moreover, classes are whole day from 8am to 6pm.

Placement scenario is not much so good but students got placed but in MPC companies more in BPO, major companies visiting they are like call centers, the average package is below 2 lakh.

Placements of IIT Delhi are excellent. Even this year the highest package offer of 1.20 crore from google. Just maintain a good GC and there is no load of placement too as you are an IITian. Also, students are exposed to startup also. Providing ideas, help in them and many more.

The placement scenario is superb. In that college, according to me, 90% placement is there. According to me, many companies must have visited that college like TCS, Accenture, Wipro etc.

Additionally, I want to talk about the cultural factors as our college is located in Delhi and at the best place in Delhi. Culturally, we get best opportunities by the college. It is not for just studying. You learn so much here, which may be leadership skills and entrepreneurial skills.You can learn anything that you want to learn here.

Personally i did learn a lot, but i would attribute my personal development as an individual to the college rather than what i learnt as a Mech Engg. See in practical world thats what counts.
Thus, IIT's provide a culture - it's the students who have to embrace and learn to thrive their own way.

How are the IIT Delhi hostel rooms?

The IIT Delhi hostel rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. The names of IIT Delhi hostels are based on the names of hill ranges of India- Aravali, Girnar, Himadri, Jwalamukhi, Kailash, Karakoram, Kumaon, Nilgiri, Satpura, Shivalik, Udayagiri, Vindhyachal and Zanskar. All the hostel rooms are two-seater. All the rooms are equipped with beds and almirahs. Water coolers are allowed inside the rooms during the summer season. The hostels of IIT Delhi are facilitated with a mess, washing machines, and drinking water supply on each floor. Here are some pictures of the IIT Delhi hostel rooms-
