Course Curriculum Overview

The course was excellent. The main focus was on practical learning. There was no research initiative. That was just a 1-day workshop which was held for 7 hours. The faculty who taught about that course was helpful because many students were having difficulties but they were there to help us.

Internships Opportunities

Every college provides internship to their students. IIT Delhi is one of the top most colleges in India so it provides best internships to their students. The experience was good.

Placement Experience

The placement scenario is superb. In that college, according to me, 90% placement is there. According to me, many companies must have visited that college like TCS, Accenture, Wipro etc.

College Events

I went for the technical fest at that college. The fest was for 3 days.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee was Rs 1600 per workshop which was affordable and was worth it. Many students were attending more 2 course workshops which were offered to attend any course workshop for free.

The faculty was very interactive and helpful. The faculty was experienced and qualified in that course. They were not from that college they were called to take the workshops.

From Classrooms to Campus ; my dtu journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

NIT Delhi: A Balanced Blend of Academics, Opportunities, and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

A decent college

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students get hired, obviously, and they get a decent package. Highest package from our college is 52 LPA. Average package is 7-8 LPA. Highest package off campus is 1.2 Cr. Per annum.

IIT Delhi is close to my hometown and is ranked no. 2. It offers best faculty in Chemical engineering. IIT Bombay was rejected because of inability of getting a good branch there.
