DTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

For internships, students are eligible from the sixth semester, and for placements around 7th or 8th semester. Many big companies that include M.A.A.N.G visit for placements including Adobe, TCS, Paytm, and many more. The highest package is 1.2 Cr and the average package is around 15-16 Lakhs per annum. College claims to be having 90% of the getting placement.

Nearly all branches of the college are offered both internship and placements companies ranging from Amazon, and Google to BHEL GAIL IOCL. The overall highest package stood at 1.2 crores per annum and the DTU average package offered was 16 LPA. More than 85% of students are placed with other students who opt out of placements and either go for higher education or government exam preparation. My plan after getting my degree is to be placed at a Good MNC with a decent package.

The placements are great here. The average package of my branch is 18 lakh, coming to cse 26 lakhs, IT 22 lakh, Software 20 lakh. Around 350-400 companies visit the college. The highest package offered was 2 Crore. Around 80% of the students get placed. Most of the students opt for MBA, UPSC, and other exams for further studies.

The placement scenario is quite simple and best as well here. Here are all the big companies like AMAZON, FLIPKART, MICROSOFT, SPRINKLER, PAYTM, and many more. Students here become eligible for the placement from 3rd year, Students who get internships in big companies like amazon and google then they can get the PPO(pre-placement offer) as well to secure their job after course completion. Also, many students want to pursue their post-graduate studies, so DTU is a great name to get selected abroad as well because DTU is named a great university in many countries.

Placement is good most of the students get placed on campus and some of them go for higher studies, some of them start their startups, and most of the students get placed in tech companies. 70 to 75 per cent of students get placed.

From the seventh semester comp[anies started to come. Many tech, NON-tech companies are coming to the campus for student hiring .maximum students got placed in the companies at the end of the final year. I think out of 100 95% of students got placed, the placement ratio is nice . My plan is to go to tech companies.

At the start of the 7th semester, the placement season begins and it lasts for over 3 months. Every year, over 400 companies visit the campus and give whooping packages. The highest package in 2022 was 1.8 cr(international) and 64.23 lpa (domestic). A total of 2459 offers were made approximately to a placement percentage of 99.97%. My plans after getting my degree are to procure my dream job and my dream package.

The placements here are very good and its the key feature of this college. If with so many students intake the avg package of this college is at par with many iits.All the companies that visit IIT DELHI come to this college and the avg package of cs branch is 25lpa+. companies like google, microsoft, amazon, Atlassian, apple, come here for placements, the highest package of year 2021-2022 was 1.8 cr and avg package of the college was 15.6 and avg package of the cs branch was 25lpa+. the placement % is also good in top branches like 95% students get placed in this college also 5% left dont get becase they go for higher studies.

From the end of the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placement opportunities. In dtu there are so many companies visiting campus TATA, MAHINDRA, INFOSYS and others the no. Of the offers made 600+ on average every year, DTU has a high percentage for placement 70+ percent of students getting placed I also want to get placed and work under some great teams so I can enhance my skills with them and put great efforts for my and their greater good.

Students get full time placement opportunities in fourth year. However internship opportunities come in the second and third year. Every big mnc like google,amazon, microsoft ,flipkart,apple come here for recruitment. Over 400 companies come for recruitment. In 2022 the average placement was about 16 lpa for entire college and 25 lpa in cse branch. Record placements were seen in 2022. Number of offers were close to 2400 approx and almost all the students(about 90percent) were placed who appeared for placements in 2022. Highest international package was about 1.15 crore which was offered to 15 students form amazon dublin. Highest domestic package was 65 lpa given by apple. My plan is to get a tech( full stack devloper) job with a decent package in any of these companies. However placement opportunities are really great, i feel that due to huge competition in dtu beacuse of large student strength, it becomes really competitive to get that dream package of above 40 lpa.
