Like my thermal teacher is amazing and wonderful sir they have amazing knowledge and wonderful mind set about everything.
Scholarships are very good, and dtu scholarships and govt scholarships like mcm are easily getable.
Placement is pretty amazing. also it is one the best core jobs providing universities in india.

Dislikes

The scholarships and financial assistant are there but they are not that easy to avail.
Due to recession less companies are coming in college which is affecting all over placements.
Hostel not provided to delhi region students...dtu has enough space for hostels but not made.. day scholars suffers alot...a very big disadvantage

You will have enough of time for any extraordinary activities.

Dislikes

I would not say all but some of the students are mischievous

Placement Experience:

Overall placement is good and average package is high. But this year percentage of students placed till now is low. If one didn't get placed they can go for higher studies or can take placement through referral.

Likes

Certain departments have no minimum attendance criteria unofficially of course.
Brand name of DTU/ DCE still holds a lot of weight if you can capitalize on it.
Placement opportunities are well above average as it is till one of the most premier college.

Dislikes

The faculty in general is unbothered to impart quality education but depends on the individual professor and department but this is the general trend.
Hostels were not available for all the students especially the students from Delhi, hopefully that might have changed as a lot of construction was underway when our batch graduated.
The college is on a downward spiral as per my observation, all that's left is the prestigious name and the fact that the selection rate makes it elite.

Placement Experience:

Great placement opportunities. Max package - 1.5 cr per annum Average package- 10-15 lacs per annum Last 2 semesters students become eligible for college placements Percentages/CGPA have good amount of correlation with the placement but it's just a factor and not a deciding criteria. Lots (tons) of companies visit for placement.

My honest review

Likes

It provides high quality education, a lot of opertunites for startup, interships in big companies like microsoft, google, adobe.
Its campus life is so chill and a lot of fun is there, its greenery atracts more.
It provides a lot of opportunities in sports, campus life is better than even some top iits, high packages.

Dislikes

Girls ratio is so bad in my class there are only five girls in 60 of students.
Hostel need to be renovate, rooms are not so as expected.
Hostel students are not allowed to go outside the college after 9 pm.

Placements in delhi technological university is so good and better than even top iits ,students are eligible for placement in sixth semester onward.there are a lots of multi national companies like google, microsoft, oracle, amazon, adobe, samsung come in my college for heiring the students.

Relaxation in attendance like if all class is on mass bunk the that day is considered as holidays and students do focus on his or her carrier.
It's placement attract outside delhi student that many of them are leave the seat of NIT and some lower iit and 5 year course of iit.
Campus life is very good infrastructure and coding cultures like if you are using LinkedIn then only u feel it like many students share what they learn on that date

Dislikes

Hostel life is good here but mess like some time the raita is so diluted. Roti is so thick.
Unnecessary 75 percent attendance policy.
Giving the 5 marks on 90 percent attendance

Placement Experience:

Dtu has it's own placement cell and moat of the famous companies like Uber goggles Microsoft Uber Ola zomato and many more companies come the average package is 15 lpa in 2023 but it's recudece because of recession. And because of recession placement cell also increases time for student to seat for interview and get a job.

Professors are very nice, carriculam is not hectic, opportunities are enough, campus is more green than green color itself, collage care about student's overall growth (i.e mental, physical etc.)

Dislikes

language of delhi people is so rude but they are like this. the word "TU" feels disrespectful.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is decent for tech students but for core it is not that good. In 7th semester we can go for placements and big compines like GOOGLE MICROSOFT SPRINKLE and 100 more companies offer for placements. 1.8 crore was offered for a design student and 1.22 crore is highest for a B.tech student in DTU. average pacakge is arround 15 to 17 lakhs. Almost 60% students get placement. BTW i am preparing for engineering service exam and GATE.

A great university for delhites, not so much for people outside delhi

Likes

Campus life: A variety of fests and clubs
Infrastructure: The facilities provided are very helpful
Opportunities: Ample opportunities provided by the university

Amount of home state reservation; lack of diverse crowd
A lack of enthusiasm and interest in teaching shown by some professors.
Increasingly decreasing quality of crowd

Placement Experience:

Internship opportunities come as early as the 3rd and 4th semesters, and a whole internship drive is at the end of the 4th semester. Companies visit the campus and offer various internship opportunities with a good stipend. On-Campus placements are very successful every year and the data goes to show for it.

i liked campus.. canteen is good... clock tower.. various fests
people here are good..they are intelligent and there is lot of things we can learn from them

Dislikes

college takes lot of money..like 200000..why? we are here to study

my college is good in providing placements.. mostly in tech branches getting placed is not a big deal but in lower branches getting placed is a difficult job...our college provides average package of 10 lacks which is good ..our cs branch has average package of 24 lacks

from 7th semester we are leegible for placements. lot of top tech and core companies visit our campus for placemnts every year. last year more than 1000+ visited our campus for the placements. Average package is aboout 20 lpa

DTU BEST COLLEGE

Likes

Seniors are really good they help us in a lost of things.
Sports facilities are really good. You can play what you want to play.
Infrastructure is really good and our library is very very big you can study there as long as you want

Dislikes

After mid semester there is only one month between end semester
There is no qota for girls therefore the ratio of boys to girls is about 1 ratio 50
Sometimes you don't get PG and hostel then you have to travel from your home and root is not good for this college

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is better for those student who are interested in mathematics because in this course there will be a lot of subjects of mathematics. And it will be lot chill teachers are really nice and they corporate with student and students also corporate with teachers. Teachers need only a present and assignment in the class .

Best Campus life For Engineers

Dislikes

No transportation like e-rikshaw an all is provided inside the campus like IIT Bombay an all.

Course Curriculum Overview:

DTU is such a nice college and curriculam is also moderate level . It's quite easy to maintain 8+CGPA throughout the course. The subjects involved or introduced in the course is totally relevant and I gain alot of knowledge about computers and thier working.
