Panjab University Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I am a student of electronics and communication engineering and bring a first year the curriculum is decent enough not hard . If you do your best it will surely go on and don't know about second and third or fourth year .

Students are eligible from 4th year for placement. There were many companies which visited here like ZS Associates, American Express, Accenture, Mahindra Tech, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant and TCS etc. Average placement was 9.11 LPA for UIET in 2024 and highest was 44 LPA on campus. Well in ECE branch around 80% students get placed with average 10 LPA.

Course is good everything is good except the teachers eee is interesting and also have variety of roles in future but if you get less marks even in interested branch its irrelevant. So try to avoid taking EEE branch

From 7th semesters the student is eligible for campus placement.total 20 companies visited every year and 100 offers made by company. The highest placement is 1400000 and avg placement is 6 lakh.The total 80 percent student get placed every year.my plan after degree is get placed or prepareing for government jobs.

Campus placement is 93 percent this year . Companies start visiting department in the month of September. Students are eligible for placement as they enter in the final year (7 semester) . The average package is around 5.5 Lakhs per annum and highest package is 12 lakh per annum. Students can go in field of pharmaceutical industry, oil and petroleum, fertiliser, paints, chemicals etc . Or students can opt for higher studies masters, MBA , abroad opportunities. Around 45 companies visited for placements with average 5 offers per company.

Seventh semester students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies visited and made many offers. Highest packed is given by American express that is 25 lpa and lowest is by many that is 4 lpa almost 70 percent of the students for placed

The several courses are there including CSE,IT, Mechanical if you want to study here choose only CSE and it.You will regret if you will choose other courses here.The are are not considered difficult here. Preparing PYQ will be enough to get good marks here.

The placement at the Panjab university were also good. There is a special Training and Placement cell which deals with all the training and placement opportunities for the students and insures that every student gets the placement. There were a number of companies visited at our campus for placement like Google, infosis and many m ore top tier companies. The average package was around 4lakh and almost all the students gets placed.

The placements in our college are quite good for my branch ( CSE ) but the mechanical and civil placement rate is very low only a few students sit for placement and are placed. Approx 80% of students placed in CSE, 70% in ECE, and 40% and 20% in mechanical and civil respectively. My plan is to go for a master's whether in india or abroad along with a part-time job.

Collage Placement - Ya multiple of companies came for recuritement in the last semester of collage and they give the average package of 4 to 5 lakh. Most of companies with high package came for business development role
