Panjab University Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Campus placements are offered for all the branches with an avg package of 6-7 lakhs annum .companies like jubliant ,honeywell, punjabagro ,xonmobill pick students from our college and last year the placements were done for 98.5% students where others chose higher studies.

The placements are average getting 70-80% students placed with a average package of about 5-6 LPA and highest packages are 9-12 LPA. The students are eligible for applying in placements from the 7th semester onwards. In 2024, 25 companies joined on campus placements program and approximate about 60 offers are offered. 55 students get placed on-campus in companies like Infosys, Quark, Xenon Stack, Pie Infotech, Chic Mic, Growth Natives, Josh technologies, etc. Also a student got off campus 25 LPA package from Cisco.

during my academic i did my chemical enginnering with Mba and gave me knowledge which is align closely with industry need while provide a strong foundation in both theortical and pratical aspect. its gave the knowledge present amrket and which which comapny is doing good or badand the reason a si said there always provide out of box knowledge

The placement is quite good here as the ROI rate is quite high .In 2023 , around 98.5% students of chemical branch get placed . Students becam eligible for campus plan in their final year that is from 7th semester. Numbers of company from the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and consultancy sectors visits the campus.Major recduiters are Reliance Industries Limited , Adani Group , Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited (HMEL) , Zydus Cadila , L&T,Infosys (for IT-related roles), Accenture ,Evalueserve , Jubilant ingrevia,Honeywell and many more. Number of offers made varies each year, typically between 50–70% of eligible students receive offers, depending on market trends and academic performance. Highest package is of around 12 lakhs per annum and average package is of 6-7 lakhs per annum .Profiles offered include the role of Chemical Engineer, Process Engineer, Project Engineer, R&D Specialist, roles in IT consulting firms etc. After getting the degree my plans to continue my job or can think of preparing for government jobs .

After 6th sem companies start visiting the campus. In 2023, 85 companies visited but this time the no. is double. Amex kpmg delloite paytm zs associates etc visits here. Highest on campus placement is 20lpa and average package is 6-7 lpa. 80-90% are placed every year rest are EEE MECH and BIOTECH students. My plan is Gate exam after degree

MBA students have 2 internships, one being chemical core internship, which is done after 3 year for 2 months which is not shifted to last semester of 4th year for 6 months. Apart from this, there is a 2 month internship for MBA part. Earlier it was 2 months but now it is, also 6 months in the last semester. MBA students gets their internships done, both paid and unpaid included. But for placements, that story is not so good.

Basically I am from non medical background my family preferred me to do B tech in any subject after giving exam I got seat in this subject . I think everything is according to are level but the daily classes must happened No difficulty in exams the timing is 3hr that is enough for an exam

Students of 7th semester is eligible for placements and this college offer a good average package of 6-7 lacs PA. There is a good placement rate in the campus placement the CSE branch have a placement record of 80 percent to 90 percent. ECE also have a similar placement rate. I am also placed in TT consulats situated in mohali

Computer Science is my favorites course because im interested in it not too good it not goes deeply in the course they must improve in the programming lectures There is a good time between exams and not difficult

College placement is above average. Students start to get placed in 7th semester. In order to get a good placement you CG should be above 7. You should have worked in a various projects. Your communication skills has to be good. The high placement offered is 42 lakh of campus. And 25 lacs on campus nearly 70% of students get placed.
