Course Curriculum Overview

There are propper labs in which we perform experiments and we make projects which provides us real time experience in rpoblem solving and dealing with the problems. The college provides the necessary things whichwver is needed.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Placement Experience

Students of 7th semester is eligible for placements and this college offer a good average package of 6-7 lacs PA. There is a good placement rate in the campus placement the CSE branch have a placement record of 80 percent to 90 percent. ECE also have a similar placement rate. I am also placed in TT consulats situated in mohali

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for odd semester is as follows:- For genral( for day scholar hostel fees is nill):- 1. Tution fees - Rs 24500/- 2. College dues - Rs 4990/- 3. PU'S Exam fee - Rs 2575/- 4. PU's Dues - Rs 869/- 5. Hostel Fee (only for hosteller) - 2200/- Therefore for odd semester ( 3rd 5th and 7th ) Fees paid by day scholar general category = 32,934 rupees only Fees paid by a hosteller general category = 35,134 rupees only For EWS category ( hostel fees is only paid by hosteller) 1. Tution fees - Nil 2. College dues - Rs 4990/- 3. PU's Exams Fee - Rs 2575/- 4. PU's Dues - Rs 869/- 5. Hostel fees - 2200/- Therefore for odd semester ( 3rd , 5th and 7th ) Fees paid of EWS category day scholar = 8,434/- Hosteller - 10,634/- Late fine is 20rs per day for some days and after that 50rs per day

Campus Life

The college offers technical clubs as well as cultural clubs and the environmemt in the college is very friendly the cultural clubs includes PBN (punjabi by nature bhangra club), Beatles (dance crew) , achintyam( photography club) etc and tevhnical clibs include IEEE , robonox(robotics) , ACM , ASME etc

Admission

The college is situated in chandigarh vip area and it is also near to the sukhna lake which is a tourist attraction. The admission process is through JAC councelling. The admision is on the baisis of JEE mains rank. I live in chandigarh and this college is also in chandigarh thats why i choose this college

Faculty

Faculty is easily approachable . As i am in electronics and communication engineering in our department per year student is 70 and faculty members are 10. There is no such favourite faculty everyone is great . There are three exams 2 mid term and one end term

- from sixth semester, some seniors have received the PPOs - companies like apple,bmw,mahindra,paytm, hire -%placement is not that good, its 55-60% for mechanical and 85-90% for CSE -highest is 60-65lpa as latest and average is 12-13lpa -plans are getting a placement , if not, i will do mtech from abroad

Placement Experience:

Placement are provided by the college and Good offers are made by the companies. Like in cse , ece and ee have good placements but in lower branch percentage placements is a bit lower, but overall average and median package is good ( 70%) Highest placement was 61 lpa of 2025 median was 13 lpa.

Punjab Engineering College through an Unfiltered lens .

Placement Experience:

placement stats of my college is great. Better than most of the colleges out there . Even better than many NITs and IIITs , with an avg package of 14-16 LPA . And every year the Median and Avg package is increasing . Highest package till now - 83 LPA . Students are allowed for campus placements after 5th semister All the big companies out there , from Google , microsoft , amazon to Delloete , JP Morgan , AmericanExpress , to seimens, oracle , L&T , all companies come here . around 70-75% students gets placed from here My plan is to get the highest paying job offer possible for me , that's it .

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

PEC life in a nutshell

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in first year and first year is same for all branches, so I don't know a lot about electrical engineering specifically. But of what I have heard from seniors, electrical branch is more difficult, and in pec u get not that many core companies. While u get a lot of finance, IT, coding etc companies.

Yes,very good college placements are available in our college.Students of 8 semester that is 4th year students are eligible for campus placement Companies such as TCS,wipro,amex,gemini solutions and etc many more companies are there for placement 60-80% students got placed in the companies with an average package of 8 lakhs and with a highest package of 35 lakhs Iam oriented towards govt jobs and in future if I will be interested in coding sector I will do preparation for off campus and specifically for Rubrik

Placement Experience:

Placement do occur in the college. It's average package is around 7.5, lakh. Since I am the first year right now, I don't have data to support the placement record, but some of my seniors of fourth year are getting placed. One of my IT senior got placed for 14 LPA and other other, my Cse senior got placed for around 12 LPA. so opportunities are there for those who want to do something

The admission process was very time-consuming as it lasted for more than a month but it was ok and the admissions are based on JEE mains all india rank score. Okay so for getting admission in Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology Sector 26 Chandigarh 1st you have to give JEE mains exam for that exam you have to attempts in a year provided by NTA. After giving JEE mains exam you have to apply for Jack Chandigarh counselling that takes place after the JEE mains result has been declared they are total free rounds for that Chandigarh counselling and after the three rounds there are some rounds for spot rounds. If you are looking to get admission in computer science or electronics plans then you have to achieve at least 5260000 rank in JEE mains if you come from general quota and other state there is 85% reservation for students that are in Chandigarh and 15% for other state quota. So as another state quota student and as a hostess and as a computer science student I would recommend you to achieve at least 50000 to 60000 rank if you are looking for CSE or electronics branch in our college....Read More

CCET- an decent college if you want to learn and discover yourself along with knowledge

Firstly,one should have appeared and scored decent marks in JEE MAINS and have to apply through JAC CHANDIGARH counselling and opt for this college. And should have 50% or above in 12th The application for gets out around after JEE MAINS session 2 and can be found on google easily. One can avail reservations like ST,SC,EWS,Tuition fee waiver,etc. The cutoffs are somewhat decent. I had 109000 rank and got ECE here...Read More

Better college for 50k rank in mains

For admission they take jee mains rank into consideration and for leet they take PULEET into consideration.
