I am interested in master, i want to gain extra knowledge about computer science. Faculty is sufficient, faculty students ratio is good. Some faculty is not good, I don't want to mention the name here but they are really worst. I can't think that why iiit keep professors like this.

The student of IIIT Hyderabad receive the highest packages and IIIT Hyderabad students are quite popular among the recruiters. The campus is visited by the companies like Walmart, Google, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Wipro, Microsoft, India Oil, etc. The highest package for our batch was 55 LPA and the lowest was 21 LPA and I was also lucky enough to receive the package of 35 LPA.
Good - Research is top-notch, Placement is excellent. Bad - Courses are heavy, Lack of good campus life due to heavy courses.
The college is very good if you really want to learn in your particular stream.

IIIT's curriculum is similar to IIT after which it has been designed. Under this curriculum, you have to complete all compulsory CS courses within 2 years and then you are open to explore a field of your choice through electives in the 3rd and 4th year. A few common electives include VISION, NLP, CSTAR, and many others. Some students use their free time to prepare for their Master, publish undergrad papers, and then move abroad for Masters. Others can be seen targeting an MBA. Consider the following things before making the final decision
Overall, IIIT Hyderabad is an excellent choice considering its rich research culture in comparison to IIT Guwahati.
