Placement is good, mostly all the companies visit iiit Hyderabad.

Dislikes

Some faculty is really worst, they don't deserve iiit. So that is the worst thing.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested in master, i want to gain extra knowledge about computer science. Faculty is sufficient, faculty students ratio is good. Some faculty is not good, I don't want to mention the name here but they are really worst. I can't think that why iiit keep professors like this.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Semester Fees is fixed for whole 2 years. But here i want to mention that hostel and mess fees is not fixed here. In my first semester it was some x amount and then in my 2nd semester it was x + 12.1k. So yes fees is not fixed here.

Campus Life

Yes annual fest is organised by iiit. Books and journals are available in the library. Classrooms are good, no problem in classroom. Sports and extra curriculam activities are there, who want to play they can play.

Admission

You need to clear the pgee exam to get admission into mtech cse/csis. You can see all the details in iiit Hyderabad website No reservations benefits, this is the good thing about iiit. Everything is smooth in admission process.

Placement Experience:

Replacements are very good here we can eligible for the placement after the second sem and we are eligible for the internship after the seconds have also company business visited are the webpack Bajaj TVS Hero motocorps these are the companies that frequently visited here Simon is Simon is also there it on is also there have highest average LP is like 20 lpa hair percentage of students getting place is 92%

From placement point of view our collage is in top. Almost 80-90% student got placement in top companies. Jacob, wsp atkins amd more top companies came for placement. Highest package was i guess 14lpa . If some not got placement then he do choose phd.

My Dream College

Placement Experience:

There are many placement oppurtunities like internships and FTEs. The drives for internships will start from the second semester of first year. Students were shortlisted for drives based on the CGPA. Companies like Micron, Qualcomm, Synopsys, Druva visit the campus for hiring. The numbers of offers they provied will not be static. The highest package is about 38 LPA and avg is about 19 LPA. 90-95% students are placed in the previous batches. My plan after getting a degree is join in a corporate to showcase my talent and make contributions to the projects.

A place with Great Minds!

The admission process was done online,the payment of fees as well as documents submission. We needed to get some documents verified at the first day of college. The cutoff for CSE was 1687 rank in jee mains while for ECE it was around 4200. This is the cutoff for male category. The admission portal wasn't good,it was a little bit difficult to handle it. IIIT Hyderabad: An Academic Gem - A Review of Excellence
