IIIT Hyderabad: An Academic Gem - A Review of Excellence

As i a student , i took this course because of deep interest about computerss and how they function , and plus the avergae package 31 lakhs per year influenced me to join this course , faculties are very mid , most of the studies here happen by learning from each other only , exams are very timely , and its very difficult but it pays well . exams are held each month and are very difficult , and there is average grading for almost all courses , so it is pretty difficult to get good cgpa due to this competitive environment . qualitfiaction of faculty is very high as all the faculty members are researchers themselves having phd , msc from very reputed colleges . faculty student ratio is 15profesors:1student

A lot of internship oppurtunities are available. one can het an internship with a meatly stipend ranging from 150000 to 300000 per month under tech giants of the it industrysuch as amazon, adobe, IBM, qualcomm etc which come to college for on campus placements as well. Projects and outcomes are internship projects in coding and IT may involve developing software modules, conducting data analysis, or managing network infrastructure. Outcomes include improved technical skills, real-world experience, and a project portfolio for future career opportunities Major projects - Coding and Software Development Web Development Data Analysis and Data Science Cybersecurity Database Management

As we are still in the first year , we do not have much idea about the placements here, but here is what I know The placement cell here at IIITH is very active throughout the year, they really strive to get almost all of the people here at the college decent placements and valuable internships. Students become eligible for campus placements after coming into the 4rth year. some of the famous companies which come here at iiith are the following - amazon , microsoft , goldman sachs , google, adobe , flipkart , qualcomm , ibm . highest package here at iiit for cse branch was 74 lpa and lowest was 20 lpa .

IIIT Hyderabad can be seen as an institution with relatively high tuition fees. For instance, with a first-year cost of 4.5 lakhs, including hostel and mess fees, and an annual fee hike of 10%, the total cost for a four-year program can be considered expensive, amounting to 18.5 lakhs. short as our dean says placements are guranteed as soon as u get admission in iiith. there is no as such Scholarship, Financial Assistance given here at IIITH.

Life here at iiith is just too hectic , there are no as such many fests , but we as students try to organise as much as we can . for annual fest aka FELICITY, which is held each year in feb March. imp clubs - pentaprism (photography) ,asec(sports) , music club . Our college library offer a wide range of books ,both for academic and leisure reading . you can usually search for books using the library's online catalogue or database to check their availiblity . sports activities are very less , clubs run are managed my students are prentaprism , music club , decore(design) club , asec(sports).

The hostel facilities are really good here , good cleaning frequently in span of 2 weeks. there is dual sharing for rooms , means 2 people share 1 room . facilities provided in room - 2 tables to study with 2 chairs , one big cupboard to store with 2 sides , 2 beds of size 6 foot 5 inches. the rooms overall are very spacious as compared to an average hostel. MEALS Are provided in aq great variety . there are overall 4 mess and 3 canteens in iiith . 4 mess being north mess , south mess , kadamba mess (non veg ) , yuktahara (healthy diet food) MENU - there is a decent variety of food throughout the menu ,

Admission process was very good , good facilities provided, iiith is the best college to come to , but yes , studies are very tough here but its quite manageable, seeing all the other people you can manage it easily . application form can be found at the iiith official website , EACH and every information can be found there. there i no reservation in iiith as this a semi-governmental college . i found it is very good that there is no reservation. no the admission process is completely fine, but one thing , the dasa seats should be reduced dasa is direct admission for students abroad.
