Course Curriculum Overview

5

I think the course strcuture and curriculum is really good at IIITH. I've compared the curriculum at IIITH and other top colleges like IITB and IIITH is at par with them, infact actually better in many course. The course structure is very rigorous, leaving us with very less time for other activities, most of the time consumed in studying and assignments. Also the level of exams is pretty high, compelling the students to study properly and seriously.

Placement Experience

5

IIITH has a really great placement ,with a record of 100% placements in the past years. The ECE branch has an average package of 20-22lpa meanwhile CSE has an average package of around 28lpa,with all of them getting placed at campus. The highest package was around 87 lpa last years meanwhile the lowest was around 12 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees for each semester is 1.8 lakh, which sums to 3.6 lakh for a year ,40k for hostels and 50k for mess, summing to a total for around 4.5lakhs per year. Please note that this is the fees for students applying through JEE mode. The fees vary according to the mode of application. I'm not aware about the scholarship opportunities.IIITH has a really good record of placements, with a record 100% placements so far. The ECE branch has an average package of 20-22 lpa and CSE has 28 lpa average package. The cllege has a really good research culture, thu ]s there are very less internship opportunities available .

Campus Life

3.5

The overall experience has been pretty good. The people are really nice here, seniors are very helping and always help us with any kind of difficulty. The clubs also work well, almost all of the conduct activities and events quite regularly. Our college is known for its coding culture ad]nd the research culture as well. The research culture is really good here, and the college invests a huge chunk of money in research labs and facilities related to it. One think I dislike about the college is it's sports facilities, They're not good, lacking a badminton court and also the tennis court is not in a good condition. Also it does not have a proper football ground.

Admission

The admission process was done online, the payment of fees as well as documents submission. We needed to get some documents verified at the first day of college. The cutoff for CSE was 1687 rank in jee mains while for ECE it was around 4200. This is the cutoff for male category. The admission portal wasn't good,it was a little bit difficult to handle it. Also I did not like their administration team. It was very difficult to contact them. I had a great difficulty in this aspect of administration,as I had many doubts .

Faculty

4.5

The faculty members are well qualified from the top institutes of india like IITs,IISc and IIITH as well. Most of them are really good in their courses as well as passionate about teaching. I had a really good experience with them, they're very helpful with any kind of queries I had. They also help a student if he/she is interested and want to study further in that course, providing them with suitable references and research opportunities.
