yea it's very relevant, liked in other colleges the first year is only the jee stuff related again but here is purely the course u opted for from day one the curriculum is very well designed and we are given problems sets in our land that simulate real world problems

interships opportunities are abundant in our college the first being that u could directly work under a prof on their research that's ongoing as a research assistant + u can opt for off campus interships and college is very supportive about that

students can go for of campus placements at sant point of time but the college placements for the research students happens in their 5th year there are a lot of companies the visit our and since it being in the it hub we get companies like AMD, NVIDIA, EA, APPLE, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, META and many more we have a special criteria that the companies have to abide my a minimum salary set by the college last year it was 10L so no company can offer a student a package lower than that

the total fees for my course CSD is approx 25L, per semester the hostel fees is somewhat 15K the mess fees is 30K and the tuition fees is 2L and the caution deposit is 10K the fees is same for everyone, if someone is unable to pay the fees there is a provision that an alumini paya their fees and when the student graduates he also has to mandatorily help 1 needy child for that many semesters for which he took the financial aid

we have broadly 2 fest the annual cultural fest that FELICITY it happens inthe month of February and the tech fest INFINIUM that happens in sept-oct the college has a wide range of library with books and research papers kept free of cost for any student to refer to them if some research paper or book isn't there, one can raise it to the adminstration and immediate actions are taken to procure that book as fast as possible

the hostels and pretty good and spacious for the students, our rooms and bathrooms are cleaned everyday.there are water filter on every floor and there is provision of hot water in all the bathrooms the ones that are being renovated have hot water showers also

so I choose this college over other colleges because of the comparatively smaller batch size wrt other colleges and also because of the research driven curriculum that is followed i also applied to iisers but since I had a knack for computer science i choose this college there saare a lot of ways to enter but i came in through the ugee mode its an exam conducted by the college only where there a written test and then u r shortlisted and then there's an interview of the shortlisted student and after that u get a rank and according to that rank u get a branch alloted i got AIR 75 and the topmost and the most sought after branch CSD

the faculty to student ratio varies from course to course but the common course like C Programming have 1:60 exams here happen every month and the weightage is equally divided and not just on the end sems the course curriculum is very relevant because we are taught basis of computers from the first day itself

the night lift here at iiith is not that good coz due to the academics here being a bit tough students spend most of their time in workspaces or reading rooms to study some might go out to have something because there's a whole Street with food stalls just nearby
