BITS - IT'S MAGIC

The placement status influenced me to get admissions here. It is very much based on real life scenario,and then preapres for industry life. Improvements could be done on the intership as well as placement providers. exams are done twice,others things are also included like quiz,assignments and project with lab demonstration.

Many companies provide Intership Bits have a separate Facility callled Practice School for providing Internship. Nvidia take around 60 students for internship for 70000/month stipend. There are different project and roles for different comapnies like SDE need DSA and HTML CSS JAVASCRIPT projects.

From Third semester onwards students are eligible for Campus Placement Google,Microsoft,Nvidia,Qualcomm,Amazon,Paytm. Highest Package is around 42 Lpa and average is around 20 Lpa Around 80 % students are Placed. I will try my best in Campus Placements

Approx 4 lakhs per semester. Admission fees-60,000 Hostel fees-Approx 59000 Academic fees-2,35,000 FD fees-approx 30 lakh All braches have same fee structure. For First degree students scholarship are provided based on CGPA. For post graduate as well as Phd holders monthly stipend are provided.

Atmos is our cultural fest,Pearl is our tech fest. Range is too good and highly accesssible of books and journals the database is too big of library. Classrooms are hughlyu facilitaed like ac's, Projectors,Attendance. Sports facilities are too good,there is almost every sport playground availabe with pools. There are too many clubs active like social media club VFT,GDSC etc.

Hostel Rooms are good but little bit small. Meal is good but not that much good Menu have variety like south north indians food. Registration is done in the hostel office and in mess biometrics is done for registration . Locality is not that much good for rent PG you have to go at least 3 km.

The reputation of the college impressed me with good placement record. I applied SRM,Thapar,Nit Jaipur but the brand value of Bits got me to take the admission here. I got rejected from BITS PILANI CSE due to low score. For ME admission Bits HD test is conducted and also from GATE the admissions are done through faculty.Cutoffs for Gate is Around 600 and for BITS HD around 110/300. Overall experience is very nice.

faculty to student ratio is approx 1:7, Faculty members are highly educated and well mannered with helping nature. I like prof Geetha Kumari most as her is my advance Operating systems professor. Some of other best faculity is Thathagat Sir. Mostly I like everyone ,everyone is good. There are 2 exams in a semester midsem and comprehensive they are of moderate levels. Around 95 percent students cleared the exams.They are highly relevant to course curriculum.

Gym is from 5 am to 9 am in morning and 5 pm to 9 pm in night,library close at 12pm in regular days and at 6 am in exams,Public areas are open 24 hours. There is no timings for hostel and mess open for breakfast around 7 am,for breakfast around 12pm and for dinner 7.30 pm. Most famous hangouts places are CP,Rock garden,Cafeteria,Maggie Hotspot.
