IIIT Hyderabad Review

I decided to opt for the M.Tech program through IIIT Hyderabad because of my elder brother after seeing his placement and overall changes in his personality I decided to go for IIIT Hyderabad without a second thought. For admission in M.Tech at IIIT Hyderabad, we have to pass an entrance exam that requires a good cutoff ranking in the IIITH PGEE entrance exam. The cutoff list is updated every year according to the performance of the students in the exam. To take part in the admission process you need to fill an admission form that you can get from the official website of the college and pay an online payment of Rs 2000.

The curriculum is a proper blend of computer technology and engineering concepts. you will feel that some concepts are tough to understand but the faculties of the college will make you understand them properly. The curriculum is not only according to the latest industrial norms but also helps you to understand the working style of the industry.

During the internship program, many top-notch companies visit the campus. As Being students of IIIT Hyderabad, we get an opportunity to work as an intern in such prestigious companies and many students also receive pre-placement offers during the internship program.

IIIT Hyderabad is very popular for its engineering placement all over India after seeing the placement of my own brother I did not have any doubt regarding the placement. The student of IIIT Hyderabad receive the highest packages and IIIT Hyderabad students are quite popular among the recruiters. The campus is visited by the companies like Walmart, Google, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Wipro, Microsoft, India Oil, etc. The highest package for our batch was 55 LPA and the lowest was 21 LPA and I was also lucky enough to receive the package of 35 LPA.

IIIT Hyderabad provides scholarships to students under various programs and the scholarship are provided according to the merit and financial status of the students. If you are applying for any scholarship program you need to check the complete eligibility criteria as mentioned by the college. I was not lucky enough to receive the scholarship but the placement that I received is worth the money.

The campus life of the college is just amazing as I was a lot into studies so I did not use to take part a lot in the activities that were held in the college. There are many student clubs in the college. The library is full of knowledgeable books and it was the place where I use to spend most of the part of my time. The annual fest is very exciting as many industrial leaders visit the campus which gives a lot of industrial exposure.

The rooms of the hostels are decent in space and the rooms are available on sharing basis. The hostel is well maintained and remains clean all the time. The rooms are regularly cleaned. The food of the mess is of good quality. The rooms have basic amenities like a bed, almirah, study table according to the no of students and 24 hrs of high-speed internet connectivity is also available.

The faculties of the college are highly trained and very knowledgable the faculty makes sure that you are able to understand every concept very clearly and easily. The faculty of the college also encouraged students to take part in extracurricular activities for their overall development.
