Remarks

I think Hyderabad state provides good infrastructure facilities for the colleges as top colleges of India are from Hyderabad. IIT Hyderabad is also among the top university of India and IIIT Hyderabad is also ranked among the top 55 best engineering institutes in India. IIIT Hyderabad is the first private deemed university established under the PPP program. The admission is through GATE I have to clear the GATE exam to be part of the college after getting shortlisted on behalf of my score I was invited for the GD and PI round.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the college is very good and the coding culture of the college is also very good and it properly follows the latest regulations. The faculty is highly qualified and the faculty have completed their PhD program and they have very good experience in research work activity. The faculty is the one that provides us with some good tips and tricks to learn coding easily and programing language. The faculty guides us throughout our academic tenure and helps us in every assignment and project activity.

Internships Opportunities

The college internship program is very good and we have to attend the internship program at the end of our first year. One of the plus points is that internships are paid and the average internship stipend is around 56k.

Placement Experience

IIIT Hyderabad is one of the top-ranking colleges in India so the p[placements of the college is also as per its standards the highest placement offer of the college during our batch was around 50 LPA and the average salary offer was around 20 LPA. Amazon, Adobe, Google, Facebook, Jio, Samsung, Code Nation, Uber, Qualcomm, and TCS are the regular recruiters of the college. Few of my batchmates also received pre-placement offers during the internship program.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers scholarships only on a merit and needs basis. The college also assists during the education loan and the education loan can be availed from the SBI Bank that is available on the college campus the plus point is that the dedication loan can be availed without providing any kind of security. The college complete course fee is around 6 lakh which is on the higher side but the placement offers are also very good and very attractive the average salary offer is around 20 LPA.

Campus Life

The college is very good and the campus is properly maintained. The college infra is well managed. The classrooms have a digital board attached with the computer system available in the classroom. The college labs are high-end and all types of modern equipment are available in the labs. The plus point is the college fest is very good as we also have big sponsors for the fest like Qualcomm. The college library is modern and we can find all type of books related to our syllabus and our domain.

Hostel Facilities

We have to register for the hostel during the admission. The hostel rooms are fully furnished and rooms are available on double and single accommodation sharing. The hostel mess food is good but the menu is limited. The hostel wardens are very cooperative and highly professional they behave in a professional manner and the hostel staff is well trained. 24 hours of water and power supply facility is available. The hostel is full of all kinds of facilities.

library is superbb and very large with equipped AC and other things
No restrictions on exit and entry in the main gate

Dislikes

too much bushes and vacant area which could be utilized to increase infrastructures.
less lightning facilities and too much darkness in many campus areas
mess food can be improved ,they should provide separate veg and non veg

Placement Experience:

From Third semester onwards students are eligible for Campus Placement Google,Microsoft,Nvidia,Qualcomm,Amazon,Paytm. Highest Package is around 42 Lpa and average is around 20 Lpa Around 80 % students are Placed. I will try my best in Campus Placements

Placement Experience:

To be frank enough the placement of IIT is very excellent. Not only did the industrial leader visit the campus but IIT Hyderabad also promotes start-ups to take part in the recruitment drive. That gives us an opportunity to be part of a startups group. Companies like Accenture Japan, Google, Microsoft, MTX, Rakuten, TSMC, Tech Mahindra visit the campus. The highest placement package during our batch was 55 LPA from Google and the average package was around 17.50 LPA

Remarks:

Research wise not that great, the curriculum is more oriented towards the industry needs, and the funding for research is very less from the government compared to other big institutions in the country

Remarks:

College is one of the best in India for studing biotechnology and bioinformatics. Placements are mostly based on student initiatives. College however provides all necessary support, help and connections.

Remarks:

I heard they always force the students to pay the fees in time. Some times we feel egoistic, aggressive behavior among the students and lectures. In case of any adhoc work or when lectures doesn't responds in time for days together we will see impatience between the students and management. During our period, couple of lectures are changed because they are not able to co-operate with the students.

Highly Classified Review on IIIT Hyderabad

There are different modes of admission in our college like Jee rank, 12th standard marks, etc. There is also a mode for students from foreign countries. You can find all the details about it from www.iiit.ac.in. There are no reservations based on caste. The admission process is a little bit hectic since you have to pay around 2 lacs if you have a course and have to wait for other rounds for upgradation. Reviewing IIIT hyderabad inside out

we have 7 modes of admisiions for undergraduates . 1. JEE : admisiions are based on jee main scores .the cutoffs are generally very high artound 99.8-99.9 percentile in jee mains . through this we can get only in single degree courses like CSE,ECE .it has 100 seats in each course. 2. SPEC : students enrolled in 6 year integraed btech program aftyer 12th and jnv students are eligible . they have to clear one written test(MCQS) SUPR and then qualify interview to get seat. has 15 seats each in CSE,ECE. 3. DASA : the applicant must hold a foreign passport and admission is made through SAT scores .the cutoff is generally around 1550-1600. 4. UGEE : this is for dual degree . they have to clear written exams in 2 stages SUPR + REAP . thereafter, qualify the interview round to get a seat . 5. You need to clear the UGEE exam, ther cutoff is around 100 /150, after clearing the cutoff, you will be interviewed and ranked based on interview for getting the seat, u need to get 70% or above in 12th boards, application form fees and dates are on iiit.ac.in website, no reservations , the exam UGEE will be held once every year and it easier than JEE mains, but test is different from mains, your aptitude is tested in the test and how well do you know concepts and apply them in real life....Read More
