Very very relevant courses are being added to the specific fields. Like for example in material science and metallurgical engineering, we have a course called fundamentals of scientific computing over a course called introduction to programming. In fsc we learn python and in Ito we learn C. Fsc is more relevant to our department. So they keep updating syllabus like that

Actually its pretty good, all of the professors knows what a Grad student want, and would exactly deliver what will be useful to them, so in IITH we have Fractal system- which is one semester is divided in to 6 segments, so for every two segments you can choose courses, and its not like just mid and end exams, you will be connected to the subject whole semester, and its quiet easy this way, than just study before the exam, this was you can actually learn, so we have exams for every 2 segments In my branch, which is Material science and metallurgical engineering, we have labs included with courses, so many hands-on experience, if you want to persue career in core, these would really help, also you could work under/with a professer in your interested area Curriculum is cool, every day maximum i will be having 3 courses that's it. Difficulty level would completely depend on professor and course system, though its relative grading maximum times so you're fine

I choose this couse because of two reasons first according to my JEE-ADVANCE rank I was getting this only, and there are many other opportunities in research field of it. Material science brings an opportunity to explore more with materials everyday find new innovations and make other's lives better Faculty student ratio all around 5:20 They are PHd scholars and having very innovative way of teaching. It depends upon how you study that the exams and marks you are getting in it
1. IIT Hyderabad follows a course system called fractal academics which is very helpful in relieving stress to the students. 2. Teachers here are highly educated and professional. When you get intlo an IIT, the faculty members you meet are most often very passionate. 3. Teacher student ratio is 1:10 which is a good number 4. Exams and overall courses are not highly difficult. A person can easily get a good CGPA by studying daily for a small amount of time
We didn't choose the course we got on the basis of our eligibility. Faculty is excellent with excellent qualifications and they have alot of knowledge. Continuous evaluation is mostly preferred and it varies according to different courses.
Affordable fee, scholarships are in plenty, but with high eligibility barriers. A low interest loan scheme is also available. Placements are amazing as expected from an IIT. Even in Materials Science, many got placed despite lower stipends
Our college follows a system called the fractal academic system, this is very different from what other colleges follow. Each semester is divided into 3 segments. Every course will carry some credits(1, 1.5, 2, or 3) based on the contents of the course. One credit course spans for 1 segment, 1.5 credit course spans for 1.5 segments. Professor makes the decision about the exams for the course he is teaching. There can some assignments, or surprise quizzes some professors ask to give seminars also. Some professors take viva also. Exams will be very easy if we attend the classes regularly and do the assignments. All faculty have done Phd. Faculty to the student is ratio is also good.
It is feasible for the lower caste and quite expensive for other higher caste For oc- nearly 1 lakh - 1.5 lakh For obc- 1 lakh For SC/ ST - nearly 40thousand. Fee keeps varying every semester. And there will be Institute scholarship based on the parental income.
For me the fee is so expensive. Tuition fee is 1 lakh and other fee adds up to 37000 so the total fee would be 137000 per semester for a btech student. For sc/st students tuition fee is zero Late fee fine is very very high 1000 per day .There is an sbi branch in our college we can take education loans at low interest Which we can clear after graduation
