Remarks

1. To apply for any Btech course at IIT Hyderabad, a student has to qualify the two stage IIT JEE exam. Namely, IIT JEE Mains, IIT JEE Advanced. 2. After qualifying the exam, a student has to fill a list of colleges he is willing to study in JOSAA admission portal. 3. He/she can select all other IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other institutes of national importance. 4. The JOSAA helds the seat allotment procedure in seven consecutive rounds. 5. We have to select the courses according to our rank. Otherwise he/she may not be allotted any course/college. 6. Reservation plays an important role in the admission of IITs and NITs. People belonging to OC won't avail any reservations. People belonging to SC/ST get high reservation. People of OBC get a small amount of reservation. 7. For Open category students, it is very tough to get into these colleges. However a good amount of hard work can get you any course you wish for.
