BIT Mesra Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

For campus placement, companies start visiting around the month of August and the process goes on till February. BIT Mesra boasts its incredible placement stats over the internet. The average package for CSE for the year 2021 is 19.2LPA, and that of IT is 20.8LPA . Highest package being 85LPA offered by Atlassian. Companies like Sprinklr, Walmart, Microsoft also visit the campus and hire students for jobs worth 30LPA. The average package for the college aggregating all branches stands at 14LPA which is a decent placement stat during the times of COVID and recession effects. Although the college has taken a significant hit during the year 2023 where the percentage of students placed were around 67% owing to the recession and less comapnies visting the campuses for recruitment. However, the T&P cell of BIT Mesra has held close relations with many great companies and boasts a wide allumini network. As for my plans after the degree, I aim at joining a good firm to work with.

If you're in Core Branch then you have to manage time and prepare for GATE. Internship offers are good in this college but if you are dedicated for the government job then you can just pass in semesters and work hard for prepare for GATE

The course curriculum is at par according to the current industry scenario. The curriculum is good and it prepares us for the industry. The syllabus is very well-updated and teaches us from the very basics to advance as we progress through the course.

As I have chosen Civil Engineering which has good Internship Opportunities in this college. Course Curriculum is not good and Teaching Methods of some Professors are good as per my experience. Labs are well equipped for all Branches of B.Tech

The curriculum is very good and is updated on a regular basis.The syllabus is as per the industry reuirements.Two exams per semester are held one midsem and one endsem.And there is absolute grading to aclclate the gpa per semester.

Students are eligible for on-campus placements from 7th semester and on-campus internships from 5th semester. A large number of companies visit including atlasian, sprinklr, Goldman Sachs. Previous year 96 offers where made for computer science students and atlasian being highest at 85lpa whereas average is 18lpa. Around 70% students got placed. I'll go for MBA after getting the degree.

From the third year itself students are eligible for internship opportunities by the many companies like Microsoft, Nvidia, Intel , Samsung and other big companies comes to the campus with many job opportunities and takes around 10 students each . Highest package offered was 83 lakhs per annum and the average package is 13 lakhs per annum with a placement percentage more than 90% . Personally I am going to opt masters in technology after pursuing bachelor's in technology.

Curriculum is very well designed and good . It helps me in preparing for GATE as well . We get adequate time to enjoy our lives and grow skills in other field as well . Also it helps us to deal with many real life problems

The curriculum is very good and updated at regular intervals .The syllabus is exactly as per the industry requirements . There are two exams per semester one midsem and one end sem and 8 semesters for the btech course.

Yes,the course is quite relevant and trustworthy.Even the faculty members are very good and respectful.The one area i would focus on improvement is the technology is not par with the today's world and labs too are not much good.
