Remarks

Overall Campus of the college is very good. Also faculty is good and supportive. I want to mention about our Director sir because he very encouraging and supportive. You can go for this college without any doubt. But in my opinion not to take (Ece course)

Course Curriculum Overview

Exam is not hard its all about your basic courses which yu are currently pursuing. I have joined the electronics and communication engineering but my opinion about this is that in ELECTRONICS there is not much scope.

Although college is trying its best to make you placed but Needs lots of improvement.

College Events

College always encourage you to explore your talent. Every year we celebrate our technical fest. Also cultural night is organised in our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is one of the least expensive Engineering college. Also hostel facility is very good at all. Wifi facility of the college is very impressive.

Fees and Financial Aid

No loan facility is given by college itself. But there are scholarships for meritorious students.

Campus Life

My lab experience is totally boaring. The extracurricular activities are very good.sports facilities are excellent.Also there is one gym in the college.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful.No raging in the college campus. Also alumni network is very good. They are connected by one another through a facebook page.

Admission

I have cleared the entrance exam after my. Diploma in ELECTRONICS and communication engg. From shimla and got All india rank -64 and after that i have joined a course of btech in ELECTRONICS and communication engg. Through LEET.

Although faculty is good and experienced but they don't care about you. They only come and deliver there lectures its only upto you if you can understand then its better otherwise you will lag.

The placements at LPU are decent, the University provides placements to almost every student. The placement cell here is really very active. More than 1000 companies visit LPU during placement drives providing average package of 6-7LPA in CSE field. The highest package recorded was 2.5 crore from robotics and automation and 64 LPA in CSE department. 99% of students at LPU get placed. My plan after getting the degree is to join the corporate and work as a SDE or AI/ML engineer at MNC.

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding and math were the subject that influenced me to take this course we are introduced to python and c / c ++ which are the major languages used in the society for AI/ML. Teachers should be more friendly and try to undertsand the students's prospective also and not rush the syllabus we have our exams every regular month (STs and evaluations and end terms)

I don't like any curriculum in our college one day they kept mid and sem exams on same day to be frank my 1st completed in just 8 months I joined in Jan in August end it was completed my first year actually it should be completed in 1 year .

From 6th semester a student is eligible for the placements, companies like TAFE, CLASS, Mahindra and Mahindra and many others come for campus placements. The average package is of 5-6 lacs and the highest package, according to me was gone for john deere company at the price of 15 lacs per annum. The students have 80-90% chances of getting placements. I personally want to pursue my higher studies and work on my future preneurs.

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. I choose this college honestly as it was a centeral government college under josaa and has significantly less fees which would help me save for my master's . I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
