Course Curriculum Overview

5

There are certain aspects which influenced my decision to choose this course over other. Where this course is based on the majors of political science and I am someone who loves the polity and want to take decision which is in the support of our constitution. This course prepare us to take the decision in real life weather in its Lok Sabha, rajya Sabha, etc . and also help to pursue the PHD and different other courses. Basically my course involves both geography and political science so the area of improvement is in the geography where its course is little bit older and the teaching method is as per the course which is ultimately traditional little bit. Basically there are two examination in one year and the timing of examination is 6 months where it is moderate level examination anyone can pass easily

Internships Opportunities

5

There are many companies which come for the internship in our college such as Tata Mahindra, relink, etc. roles which offered by the company are business associate, finance, marketing, etc stipend usually depends up on the roles and responsibilities of the intern where it generally ranges around 15000 to 20000. Project and outcomes are describe in the internship description of the company.

Placement Experience

5

Even as my course is not a professional course so there are little placement at but companies are come for the placement if you have this case students are eligible to sit in the placement from 5th semester. There are various companies who visited for this course is basically big four such as Deloitte, KPMG, etc. and number of offers made were not disclosed by the college. The highest package was 36 lakh and average package was 5 lacs and the profile offered were not disclosed by the college generally it is skill based profile such as audit, sales, etc. Only 50 to 60% students placed from this course and my plan after the graduation is to pursue masters from the reputed colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees which I paid in the asking college for bachelor of arts course is around 14000 INR. Even all the other charges such as tution fees, caution fees, development fees, lab fees, etc are included in the one time payment. The fees of my batchmates who belongs to the other categories such as SC, ST, etc are same. The name of a scholarship is NSP i.e. National scholarship portal and the amount of a scholarship depends upon the family income background of the student.

Campus Life

5

The name of annual fest which held in our college is Priyadarshini and the in month it will held is March. Our library offers around 3000 + journals, books, etc which is in the wider in range and easily accessible. We have projector in our classroom, ventilation facilities and hygienic elements. Our college offers diverts range of a sports and extra curricular activities such as dance, painting, basketball, cricket, volleyball etc. Societies are basically run by the students and some of them are President, vice president, etc which have great impact on the students who join the college where it provide a platform where students can interact and space to grow which also helps in CV building.

Admission

No I didn't applied for any other college and basically I choose this course over other course because I am someone who really wants to read polity and want to make the career in political science sector. No I didn't get rejection from any college. The admission process is basically common seat allocation system. Students who passed the 12th examination are eligible for the scores and exam accepted is generally through cuet common University entrance test and cutoffs around 680 out of 800 and my overall experience here is good

Faculty

5

So we have one faculty to 63 students the student relationship with the faculty is all good facilities are always here to help the students weather in its professional and personal life. Faculties are good and easily approachable and where they are always ready to guide the students and help them throughout. The best faculty of my course is the political science faculty because they makes the theoretical thing into the practical exposure. And the best faculties of my course is political science. Faculties whom I didn't like faculty of geography because of his teaching style and making certain things boring. We have two examination per year and it is a moderate level exam at program level. Most of the students are easily clear the exam and are course is relevant to the curriculum which helps to pursue PhD, Mphil in the future.

Night Life

5

We do not have any Gym in our college having canteens wear fresh and hygienic foods are cook and we do not have any designated public area in our college premises. We do not have any hostel in our premises and campus timing is 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. There are many hangouts places in inside an outside the college if I am talking about the inside we have read benches and if I am talking about the outside we have Maggi point and locality safe to roam around at night is available in the ground.

Placement Experience:

The placement is decent, not extraordinary. The average package is around 4.5-5 LPA, and the highest is around 21LPA. Students become eligible during their final year. The companies that have visited are EY, Wipro, DE Shaw & Co., Deloitte, etc. Decent number of students don't sit for placements or choose higher studies instead. As for me, I plan to do an MBA after graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It DU, so i think for many students it comes down to if you are able to make it to cutt off list. So my decision was based on it. I cleared the cutt off list for english hons so i took it. I wanted to make my way for govt job, so it was all about getting a degree regardless of what subject i was getting. I think curriculum just make you educated enough to get to know but its the college life that make you come face to face with the real world. exams every 6 months i.e every semester i think its good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really like Human Geography which let me to opt for this paper. Besides theory papers, we also have practical papers every semester through which we conduct surveys, interviews, research which helps us in preparing for the real world applications as well as further academic pursuits if we want to go in the field of Remote sensing or GIS. I feel that for papers including research or management, we should be showcasing how we can mitigate them or adapt in such scenarios and also make drafts for writing a research for further pursuits. However, as the time is limited it is quite understandable as to why its not conducted. We have two exams in a year and they are quite relevant and easy
