- The teaching staff for psychology is very nice.. mostly permanent teachers are really good at teaching leaving a few
- The front lawn is full of tress and good place to sit and chit chat
Dislikes
- The washroom do not stay clean which is partly fault of students also
- Before there was a printout shop inside college and now there is not
- It's a girl college so the experience of co-ed gets missed
Course Curriculum Overview
I knew a senior already and asked her about the college she said teaching staff is good for which I can totally agree..there are a lot of assignments and stuff but at last it's helpful helps to gain exposure, knowledge and experience If you participate in all the activities which happend then it will be really good and helpful But the syllabus is very vast and with activities and assignment it gets stressful For the first year first sem it was very hectic as the exams were in really few gap but it was fine in second sem It is advised to try to study side by side atleast a little bit
Fees and Financial Aid
I took admission in 2024 in daulat ram college and for my first year the fees was 34500 but for my second year the fees was 32500 For the college we paid this much only rest was examination fees that every du student has to pay which approximately comes around 1500-2000 There is no lab fees for ba hons psychology
Campus Life
Diwali mela and the du fest for drc it is manjari I attended 2025 manjari it was very good the artist who came was really nice but the stalls could have been more better. Overall it was fun The diwali mela of 2025 was also very good and had a lot of stalls There is a good range of all types of book in college library and free wifi is also provided The infrastructure for some classrooms is not that good but some are good like in psychology department there are smart boards in english department the chairs are good
Admission
I applied for lady shri ram other than this which was first on my preference list but the cut off was too high This was my second option I scored 710/800 and the cut off for lsr was 780 whereas for my college it was 730 something Admission is done through cuet for all du colleges and the cut off depends on course and college and changes every year
Faculty
Ok so there are 6-7 permanent teachers and rest are temporary like they can not teach next year or don't know Overall the faculty members are very good and approachable, even though sometimes if any teacher might be rude but inside they have a good heart and will surely still help Meetu ma'am and kshitija ma'am are very sweet and lovely they keep on smiling and always understand you
Interview Experience
For the admission there was no such thing We just had cuet exam which takes all colleges that come under du and some more colleges I did self study only, just took books of my friends which were prepared for cuet (one of them was given by career counseling)
Night Life
I haven't stayed a lot at night near campus but the sometimes I have gone it is safe but still it's advised to be in group The college has gym equipments in sports complex and the canteen is now in sponsor with grub up and provides waffle and variety in food like north indian south Indian Chinese The hostel timings that I have listen in 7-7:30 pm In evening just outside clg near gate 1 is a small stall type where 2 uncle work they make really good chowmein
