Course Curriculum Overview

5

So I usually like the curriculum that we follow ....like for our IA and CA -we have multiple test with continuous class activities.....and the one which will gonna help us the more is presentation skills which makes us ready for the real world and the case studies we get to solve boosts our confidence

Internships Opportunities

5

Many intership opportunities are present I did in GRMI and it was related to reasearch and writing, some of my friends were doing HR internship and many of them working with so much social and doing marketing internship.....even NGO are there like pahechan

Placement Experience

5

If I didn't get a placement from my college.... I'm planning on doing tha MA in economics by giving CUET-PG .And side by side preparing for the government exams tooo. JMC offers avg of a 6-8 lakh placement with 7-8 cgpa and few skills needed

Fees and Financial Aid

So on the yearly basis i pay around 25000-28000 for 2 semesters. Like I remember in the first year the pay was around 23000something but gradually it increases like recently in my 3rd year I kinda paid 27000 something almost touching 28000. I don't feel that there is any fee compensation or benefit for the other benchmates for other categories. There are financial aid and scholarships available for weak section students but I really don't have in dept info regarding this. Overall i feel development fees is the one which keep on increasing in large amount But JMC is a home and a very peaceful place to be in ..like the campus, cleanliness and food is wow!! And it's technically a safe place to be in .

Campus Life

5

I feel the exposure that clubs/socities provide you is next level achievement....like u will network, learn and coordinate and sometimes even lead the team which comes up with a lot of responsibility and new experiences to tackle in

Admission

My parents wanted me to study in christian school which kinda didn't happened so enrolling to JMC was like completing there dream .....also JMC is girls college so it's safe ,secure and that's why my parents blood pressure is in control....and girls are comparatively focused on studies so a win win situation

Faculty

5

I feel JMC have the best faculty....like they are the ones which will listen to you ,try to understand your problem and will help u out with any query. Faculty is pretty approachable like proper communication in between students and faculty I like commerce dept teachers more and also rajni ma'am she is very experienced professor and the way she teaches I just love it

Night Life

5

So our college is completely shut by 5 i feel or more 6..and the location of college is the embassy area so very safe even when it is dark u can find possible vehicles to reach anywhere u want ..near by place to hangout is malcha, sikkim house

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are pretty good. The placement cell of my college is pretty active and facilitataes the placement process. Companies like Deloitte, EY and PWC often come to our college for placements with the average package being Rs. 8,00,000. After getting this degree, i will pursure another degree in MBA or I might also take a part in the placement process and pursue an MBA later. Students in semester 6 and further can take part in the placement process but there are internship fairs and summer internship programmes for students who are not eligible for placements

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a keen interest in pursuing in Economics field as a career and hence my degree perfectly aligns with my career goals The curriculum is not very effective when we talk aboht the real world exposure however it is very good for further academic pursuits The curriculum could be a bit more practical based where we get exposure to the real industry as well. The exams are held twice in an year. The difficulty level is moderate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Jmc is very relevant and well structured. It includes both theoretical and pta concepts and prepares the students for real world applications . Thought some subjects could be updated and practical stuff could be included. Exams follow the du pattern and and are moderate on the basis of difficulty

Course Curriculum Overview:

the maths it includes under mme , i loved that curriculum, also the micro and macro economics and stats both as sibjects fascinate me alot which is why i chose this course. the curriculum does prepare us for real world applications because it includes stats and eco which are quite helpful. the one thing i think should be improves is that the stats course at times includes stuff which has been taught to us before in class 12th and is not relevant to be taught again.

I am excited to learn a lot of economics and how the world works around that but that is not how the curriculum is designed. It doesn't prepare you for real-world applications. More practical knowledge needs to be included and less of rote learning
