Professor are quite young, so helpful in a way and can adjust to our schedule
The building are quite good. But good architecture. And pic worthy spots

Dislikes

Doesn't have a good sport facilities and auditorium regardless of being top 8 th college of du
The society are mostly dead. With little to no input to. Put expect there falgship event
College doesn't allocate funds to most of the society. A reason behind them being dead

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is not good. Delhi University should focus much better on the curriculum.. There's no need of subject like evs, swach bharat, and all for a college student... The timetable is manageable..

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 15768 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My fee for the program is 15768/-each year... As in economics hons. There's no additional fees. I think the fees of the other categories are relatively low (around half ours) . As a general student, there's isn't any financial aid for the student. There might be scholarship provided by the college

Campus Life

There are annual fest in the college. And mainly those are the only good things to be considered but the college should improvr the infrastructure and all. Fest should be much more grand. And funds should be allocated for better of going

Admission

Mine college is one of the top8 th college of du. It offers admission through CUET. No doubt. There was no rejection. I accepted economics hons in this college in round 2 itself... (Big mistake, should have waited for further rounds)

Faculty

Most of the facult is gullible plus strict. Our maths professor arrived 2 month late. So yes, mme is lacking behind. Unless that facult is good. And always try to be there for the student... There isn't any such favorite faculty of mine... But all are good in a way a professor should be..

Night Life

Our college doesn't have a night life as it doesn't offers hostel. But the locality is 10 times more safer than north campus. And the locality also have almost every single brand or the thing required in it.

From 3rd semester students were eligible for campus placement In our campus mamy well known companies were visited like Google amazon flipkart and many more great known companies In our course highest pakage is 52 lakh per annum and the lowest pakage is 8 lakh per annum If students need to placement they need more than 8cgpa in every semester My plan after getting degree to get a placement and get well settled

Placements of our college doesn't lack anything as students mostly opt for further studies but I have no issues saying that placements are also available if not in numbers. Let's be fair as jobs in current scenario are that many in comparison to the number of students that graduates every year. Still, Miranda House has done well to make sure that over 60-65% students get placements.

From 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement but if we doing 4 years of college so 8 semester. Name of the companies visited. Zomato Amazon Uber Ibm There are around 70000 students who are eligible for the placement Asiants paints The highest and average package offered to the students is 35 LPA for highest and 3-4 LPA average. The percentage of a student must be above 80 percent if they want a average job but if a person want a job in great company they should have percentage around 90 to 95. My plans after getting the degree to become a lecturer. placements, especially for students in popular courses like commerce, economics, and science. The college often invites various companies for campus recruitment, and many students have secured jobs in reputable firms. the extent of placements can vary each year based on market conditions, the courses offered, and the students' performance. If campus placements are limited or not offered, students can still focus on enhancing their employability. By making them selves skillful growing them selves from iner side By skill Development Engage in skill-building activities such as online courses, workshops, or certifications that are relevant to your field. Skills in areas like data analysis, digital marketing, programming, or communication can significantly boost your employability. By Internships seek internships during your course. Where do you see yourself in DBC

I would say genuine

I applied to Delhi university only and this college was my 14th preference, I was getting BCom in Gargi college but i always wanted to go to some co-ed college only so I chose this. I couldn't make it to the north campus due to less cuet score. Admission process of my college is not different, it goes on same for the whole Delhi university. Maths/Accountancy is compulsory to have in 12th standard for applying to BCom hons and all the commerce students have studied accountancy in their 12th standard. Overall admission experience was pretty good, it's just that due to late results of cuet, the whole process got late, but it was quiet convenient....Read More
