- The campus of the college is quite big. Students can sit and in greenery when they have a gap between the classes. The buildings and classrooms are also very well built
- Due to students coming from all over India aiming at Delhi University there is huge diversity, people from different backgrounds and places encourage different cultures
Course Curriculum Overview
I have always been a literature enthusiast which made me choose this course. Reading more is a habit everyone must develop. According to me the literature also helps us in understanding human emotions better as well as makes us more empathetic.
Fees and Financial Aid
the annual fees for BA(hons.) English at Deshbandhu College is nearly ?14000. I belong to general category and pay the same amount yearly. For students in the general category the amount is quite affordable and easy to pay.
Campus Life
The annual fest of our college is called Sabrang. Various famous celebrities and artists come to our college for the fest. There are also many societies and clubs. I am a part of the Marketing Society as well as the Entrepreneurship Cell of our college. Both these societies help students deal with real life problems and train them for things that would help in future.
Admission
Initially I was aiming for a north campus college because I live in the northern area of Delhi which would have made commutation easy for me on daily basis. North campus cutoff for general goes high for general category students which I could not clear, therefore, could not make it to north campus
Faculty
The faculty is quite nice. The teachers are always ready to help the students whenever they need it. The students and teachers share a good bond with each other. I personally think that the commerce faculty is the best in our college. The teachers teach well and are actually nice to students. Mrs. Arushi from commerce department is my GE teacher and has helped me alot in that subject.
Night Life
There are various good hangout spots near our college. My personal favourite is McDonalad's and Third Wave Coffee. Both these places are very near our college and good hangout spots. They are also affordable places to eat after class for students.
Other Applied Colleges

i did not opt for this college as the fee structure was much higher than the fees structure at delhi university
