Course Curriculum Overview

4

The Curriculum of the cource is degined to introduce core part of mathematics and make students knowledgable to the world of mathematics. This includes parts like elementry real analysis, algebra, probability and statistics, calculus, geometry, complex analysis etc.It hepls students to devlop problem-solving attitude and critical thinking ability. This is how student's brain has trained for fighting different situation.Thats why I decide to choose this course. If it includes some applications more,This helps to understand students it utility.4-5 tests , once IA and once semester exam has been held during the whole semester. The difficulty level of the exams are moderate.

Internships Opportunities

5

Kirori mal college provides very good opportunities for internships.A student with skills, passion, and will to do something meaningful are get many chances to get internships under companies. The college run many schemes for internships like Principal KMC internship scheme, MLA internship program, etc. There is placement cell in the college which helps student to get internships. The companies like Amazon, deloitte, MCPG, etc. are providing internships and some also give stipend. By Principal KMC internship scheme you can internship with stipend of rupees 5000 per month.

Placement Experience

4

The placement in this college is good. Many companies come to the college to give placements.the students who are from fifth or sixth semester are eligible for campus selection and can sit in interviews taken by companies. The companies .like Wipro, Amazon, PwC, Deloitte, Accenture, McKinsey & company, Zomato, EY, etc. come to the college.according to previous record companies provide 176 offers. The highest package offered was rupees 23.05 LPA and the average package offered was rrupees 7.25 LPA.Last year 172 students get placements via campus placement. My plan is to go for post graduation after getting this degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of my course, B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics, is constructed very nicely. The annual fees for the whole year is 17115.00 rupees. The complete fees for the entire course of period 3 years is 51345.00 rupees. There is slight increment in course fees as compared to previous years. The registration fees of 250.00 ruppes are applied for filling registration form for admission process. There is no any difference in fees for different categories of students in same course. There are many scholarship schemes such as Financial support scheme, National scholarship portal in which students can get 50 to 100 percent scholarship based on their family annual income or other criterias.

Campus Life

4

My overall experience in the college campus is good, at the first sight I was like what an amazing college this is.The college infrastructure is so much good and its surrounding is so soothing filled with greenery. In college there are many fest and events are held. Some are society or departmental like TARA , Supremum, and many cultural fest are also celebrated like DIwali mela, Dandiya festival. The college library has huge collection of books, journals and magzines. The reading hall facility is really nice with wifi service but many times its connections are weak. There are many sports facility indoors like carrom, table tennis and also outdoors like football, volleyball, badminton, basketball. It also have gym facility but its maintenance is bad they should work at this. There are many societies in the college like Tensors, CRY, NCC, NSS, Montage, etc in which students can join to improve their personality and also learn skills and many small learning.

Admission

I got confirmed my admission in Ranjas college before,But after upgrade I got seat Kirori mal college.I choose this college because Its mathematics department is more stronger than previous one.I did not applied for any other college or university because before I apply for any other college I got seat in Delhi university through CSAS. To get admission in kirori mal college, you need to give CUET UG exam after you completed your 12th class. you must secure 45-50% marks in 12th from recognised board. Then you have to register in DU CSAS portal. After CUET UG result out,the phase II and III of form filling is being started in which you have to make a preference list according to your choice. Then, there are serval rounds for seat allocation. For kirori mal college, according to 2025,you must cross the cutoff for your category then you will get seat in kirori mal college.

Faculty

4

The faculties of mathematics department are great and exellenty at their work. They are understanding and and cooperative. The faculty-to-student ratio is well.I like S.P. Tripathi sir because their way of teaching is very fascinating and interesting. He gives us chance if we are approchable to any context. In a semester, teachers take 4-5 tests and one IA and one semester examination. The level of exams are moderate.Almost every student clears the exams. The course curriculum is much relevent for us.Understanding new concepts and area we have not explored.curriculum is well managed.

Night Life

4

nightlife around the college is awesome. After the whole classes of college, students used to move to move around cafes or nearby chiling area.some of them make a group and play games or just chit chat together. For the students college cafeteria is most common hangout place. Some goes to library. The time schedule of my course in the college is too vast, sometimes there is only 1 or 2 class and some days it goes to long period of 7-8 classes. In the night the crowd imerse on sudama tea stall for sip of tea and gossips with friends. There is also a temple named prachin hanuman mandir gives us divine moments and blessings from god.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of Hansraj College is quite active. You are eligible to sit for campus placement offers from 5th semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, capgemini arw frequent recruiters for several posts and positions. The highest offered package is somewhere around 22000 with the average being at 700000-800000. Not all students get placed on campus, however thr hands on training and learning makes you industry ready, making you eligible amd worthy to apply for off campus placement opportunities. Many students prefer not to sit for campus placements and rather opt for higher studies after graduation. I plan to do the same after getting my undergraduate degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the BSc Statistics (H) offered by Sri Venkateshwara College has been quite relevant and comprehensive in content. The core courses such as probability, inference, regression, and econometrics were the major reasons for opting for the subject of statistics. It provides us in-depth analytical training that is necessary for higher education and work in the field of data, though there is a need for exposure to software/tools as well. The semester-wise examination, which is moderately tough

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is just like any other college, and you need to do a lot of the skill enhancement by yourself. Here, you will learn something, but not everything that is relevant. The professors will teach according to the syllabus, be it really relevant in real life or not. Everything that you will be learning will be relevant for career in this field, but not enough. You require to put some extra efforts to gain more knowledge and practice.

Students typically become eligible from 3rd year/6th semester onwards for most companies. Some internships and tech roles may be available to 2nd-year students depending on the company criteria. Placement Percentage: Usually, 70–85% of eligible students get placed, depending on the stream. Highest placement rates are often in Computer Science, Economics, and Commerce streams. My plan is to become a software engineer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cource curriculum is highly relevant. It covers fundamental and advanced concepts of zoology , which was the main reason I choose this course. Subjects like human physiology, biochemistry, biomolecules, comparative anatomy of vertebrates, animal behaviour, ...etc. are highly interested and align with my interest. Practical components help in developing and understanding concepts more clearly. However, real world applications is limited. Curriculum prepare students well for further academics for PG or other competitive exams. Exam system is conducted at regular intervals with Internal assessment and semester end. Timings are appropriate . Difficulty level is moderate to high.

Hindu College, Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Mathematics)
Reviewed on Jan 6, 2026(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

For B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics at Hindu College, the curriculum follows the latest DU UGCF?2022 structure, so it covers both strong theory and some modern applications. The main reason to choose this course is the depth in core areas like Calculus, Algebra, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Probability, which builds a very solid base for higher studies like M.Sc, data science or research. There are six semesters with continuous internal assessment plus end?semester exams, so students study regularly instead of only before finals. Exams are usually moderate to difficult because questions are concept?based, but the pattern is fair and gives weightage to assignments, tutorials and attendance. Overall, the course is quite comprehensive and relevant for careers in teaching, analytics, government exams and higher academics, though adding more practical projects, programming and real?life modelling could make it even more industry?oriented
