Course Curriculum Overview

3

The university has a well built and organised course curriculum which is totally relevant and helpful for the grooming of students. I chose this course because it contains a variety of laboratory works and this university provides all laboratory facilities required for proper learning of the subjects. The curriculum has a balance of theory and practical which is very beneficial. The faculties provides adequate training in laboratory works and also provides adequate guidance and notes in theory. The teaching methods needs no change and is absolutely fine for students to understand and cope up. The availability of notes and study materials is always beneficial. The difficulty level of exam is generally medium and one exam is held in a semester. Other than that, continuous assessments are conducted throughout the session.

Internships Opportunities

5

The university provides a vast range of internship opportunities. Generally, non paid internships are offered during bachelor's degree. We were provided with internship opportunities in both academic institutions and companies. The companies include red cow, keventer, suraksha diagnostic, hapko, metro diary, medical hospitals, pathlabs, etc. And academic institutions includes any colleges, universities and biotech parks Throughout the country and sometimes abroad too. Throughout the course, we have a compulsory internship, a compulsory desertation and a compulsory interdisciplinary project. We have provided with lots of options for all of these. Other than that, students are encouraged to do many other projects and innovations. Students get chances to participate in national competition with their project. Some people also get government grants for their innovation and projects. Some projects take a step ahead towards product development and marketing. The faculties provides all sorts of guidance and support required for these projects.

Placement Experience

3

The placement is more or else good in numbers, and it keeps on increasing day by day. Students are eligible for placement from their final year of degree. Companies like Biocon, Cipla, Lupin, Bharat Biotech, etc are the most commonly coming recruiters. More than 70% of the students get placed with a reasonable salary. The highest package in my course till now is 700000 lpa. My plans after my bachelor's degree is to pursue Master degree in the same domain.

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay a yearly fees of Rs. 140000.I paid an admission fees of Rs. 20000.The total course fees is Rs. 4,40,000. It includes all the lab fees, development fees and exam fees. Nothing extra is charged. The university provides merit scholarship on the basis of higher secondary exam marks. And also provides semester wise merit scholarship to the ones ranking first, second and third in the semester examinations.

Campus Life

4

The campus is quite happening throughout the year. Every year an annual fest is being held named ADINOVA, where many competitions, fun activities and guest performances are held. Other than that, two or more engagement programmes are held every month. Each and every national and regional occasions are celebrated throughout the campus. Other than that, tech fest, Film festival, science fair, food festival is being held. The university has three libraries, the central library being the biggest amongst all. The central library contains all varieties of books, question banks and study materials for all the courses. The classrooms are fitted with projectors and smart boards which makes it a digitally facilitated study. The universe has its own sports club which organises several tournaments throughout the year including cricket, hockey, football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, marathon race, etc. players from the sports club also wins medals in state and national levels. The university has a total of 15 clubs, namely, music club, dance club, enterpreneurship club, recitation club, photography club, art club, coding club, sports club, empathy club, junk innovation club, biotech club, etc which looks after all the extra curricular activities of the students.

Admission

I searched for different colleges from sites like collegeduniya, there I found adequate number of fruitful and positive reviews about Adamas University. I saw other colleges as well, but from the point of view of my course, other colleges lacks laboratory support required for it and others are said to be lacking in faculty support. This made me choose this university where there is both laboratory and faculty support sufficiently. Also, this university provides a vast range of opportunities in all aspects as compared to the others. It also provides inter disciplinary courses for students. After gathering all the informations, this was a only college I approached directly and took admission. The admission process is generally via a Admission test called AUAT, other than that, direct admission is available on the basis of merit of higher secondary marks. Generally students with a percentage above 80 in higher secondary get chance of direct admission. Otherwise, they have to pass the AUAT exam with at least 60% marks.

Faculty

5

There are adequate number of faculties and new faculties are also often recruited. The faculties are very approachable and friendly with the students. Students can approach with any problems to the faculties and they don't hesitate for a single time. One exam is held per semester which is the end semester examination. Other than that, continuous assessment are held throughout the semester in each subjects. It includes ppt presentation, assignments, projects, class tests, quiz, etc. all over, the course curriculum is very well arranged.

Interview Experience

2

I didn't face any group discussion or interview during admission. I had to give a written test AUAT before admission. However, direct admission is available on the basis of merit of higher secondary examination.

Night Life

5

The university has its own gym, cafeteria, library, playgrounds. The departure time for day scholars is 5:30-6 pm. The hostellers are allowed to be out of the hostel till 10 pm. The cafeteria, gym and library closes at 9 pm. The normal college class timing is from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. The cafeteria and the grounds are the most common place for students to hangout. The university is totally safe all the time as there are security positioned at each corners. Also, thorough checking of bags are done during entry into the campus.

College does provide internship opportunities both through the placement cell as well as department faculty. Semester 5 and Semester 7 students are eligible for placements. Average package is about 5.5 lakh per annum for microbiology course. Although placement percentage is on the lower side majority of students go for higher studies. college placements are good in this college with a number of good financial and consultancy firms coming in with new gen companies as well in the service and sales industry. moreoever getting a good placement in a top financial or consultancy placement requires a POR in a good society as a criteria, its not really required but adds to your chances of getting it. moreover you require to participate in a number of case study competitions for the same as well. my plans after graduation is probably working for a year or two after which i plan on doing my MBA. around 50-60% who apply get a placement.

We have a placement cell helping students get placed. They keep posting opportunities like internships and fellowships throughout the year to groom students and give them exposure and experience. Placements can go to very high packages like those in Data Science, Big 4 consulting or core finance or banking jobs. CAs, CFAs and FRMs do well in the placements. The highest packages could surpass 12-13 LPA and median packages are close to 6-7 LPA. DE Shaw, Zomato, Myntra, Meesho, TCS and McKinsey are some top companies coming here.
